In all honesty it’s absolutely unbelievable how shadowed this song is. After Ascensionism and Before the Title Track. This is my favourite by far. And I don’t know why it gets hate from so many people.
@@robbomcrobberson this song floored me cause I’m a sucker for big soaring choruses but i think peoples gripe with the song is that compared to everything else on the album this seems a little standard, regardless i think it is still one of the best and the lyrics hit in the feels for me pretty hard

The cadence of parts of this song makes me think of like... Spanish music if that makes sense?? It absolutely scratches an itch in my brain. This song is one of my favourites on the whole album and it hurts my soul to see it get a lot of criticism by a lot of other reactors 😭 the LAYERS in this song are SO INTRICATE and I think it's so much more nuanced than people are giving it credit for. Honestly, I think the fact that it FOLLOWS Ascensionism and Are You Really Okay? has kinda messed up its chance to shine 😭
