Bro I'm at 16K currently and been playing with a friend in the evenings. One night we got 3 out of 4 games with cheaters, 2 of them with spinbotters. It wasn't so bad a while ago. Worst part is you can't surrender the game and have to waste your time until it's over. We ended up moving to Faceit.
Lol @ people thinking faceit is clean. It’s even worse because there is potential money on the line. The cheats are just more sophisticated. Hackers have already shown off external hardware that interferes with faceits scan, literally not detectable. They are just “legit cheating”
was an avid tf2 fan, played it like crazy until there were too many cheaters and decided i wasnt having fun anymore. switched to csgo thru cs2 announcement, had fun until like 5 weeks ago. valve makes some of the most fun and engaging games yet fails so badly at maintaining them

Very sad to say that I completely agree with you. When CS2 originally came out, I was so excited for the next chapter of the game. Now, I don't really even enjoy it. Nearly every game I play I either get cheaters, or everyone in the lobby yelling that there is a cheater (if it isn't obvious). Just a sad State of Game right now.
Dont worry Valve will fix cheaters being able to shoot 5 instant AWP bullets by reducing its magazine to a single bullet instead of developing an anticheat

Exactly. I started inspecting my games I lost because I wanted to improve, and I noticed in almost every game there was a balant wallhacker. With blatant I mean a guy with silver rank movements and who is tracking you with crosshair through walls, instead of holding angles or throwing utility nades etc.

The thing is the following: if you pay much attention to other players in games, you will see on low elo almost every match a cheater, it's just not a rage hacker but you will see that he will try to shoot in walls and such because he is not used with the wall he he has a low aim hacking which is now helping him that much

This is an honest question, but cheaters? I've been playing for quite some time but haven't come across a single cheater? It puzzles me to see so many people struggling with cheaters while I haven't even seen one.
The performance is awful too. I dont know how, i didn not find anything related to this problem, but my pc performance just goes to shit every time i play competitive matches (even wingman). Every other game mode works fine, but why this happens goes around my head.
Thank you for talking about this, i experince the same thing, the game is terribly optimised. And i can run games like R6 siege at a stable 144 fps but i can't run cs2 on minimum graphics at 144fps, not even in 4:3, i ususally get around 100fps, and i got 200+fps in csgo no problem.
I got to 19.4K and have since let my rank decay to nothing cause of the reasons you’ve just talked about. I’ve stopped playing the game all together after 12 years due to the state it’s in. Players like myself can do nothing about it however content creators with an audience such as yours might actually influence a change…I appreciate this video.
Yes there were cheaters but you could still play at Global. Getting spinbotters was quite rare it was mainly legit cheats at least. Anywhere above around 18k now is just HvH lobbies. Less players means less case openings, as soon as they start losing money they’ll do a U-Turn.
Well sucks to be good at the game^^ Im playing at around 14k elo and its quite enjoyeable. Havent seen a spinbot yet and only a handful obvious wallers there are sometimes pretty fishy players but not to the the point where it impacts the game by that much

You're right. And the main thing is, that the cheaters in CS cause more than just a lost game. Now, everytime me or my squad gets killed, we instantly think someone is cheating, just because there are so many cheaters right now. It leads to several issues regarding the game, and I agree that the game is pretty much unplayable at this point. Adding some Oil to the fire, there are also still some unfixed issues, like minor server problems, bot lobbies and exploits, which make it even harder to really enjoy playing CS. And I'm honestly kinda pissed off, because there is no way Valve doesn't know this. The state the game (and specifically VAC) is in rn is just a shame. Why Warframe, a 2013 free PvE game has absolute ZERO cheaters? There is absolute zero dupe schemes, zero hacks. You can check on youtube. And you know what more? Iff you even say any shit that is against TOS or the ingame chat bot get that you are speaking about PRO-Hacking, you get a 15 YEAR BAN TIME. It bans your IP address and GPU hash. Zero tolerance. Valve should inplement an anticheat like Warframe

They removed overwatch (the only successful anticheat mesure they ever created) They managed to re-add patched exploit from 2014/2015, long range esp, no spread, teleport They managed to add new exploit like rapid fire and esp from console (it happened 3 times) They failed to secure RCE which wasn't present in CSGO They decided to hardcode the tickrate so that you can't change it nor for competitive reason, nor for community server reason (surf velocity act different based on the tickrate) They still haven't fixed ramp bug in surf They failed to implement a simple way to host a private session with your friends (it was possible in CSGO) They failed to deliver bob options and instead made a new version that doesn't come near what the community wanted They failed to fix the crouch on hold, still bugged And finally, they still haven't implemented weapon on the left side Valve is worth $7.7 billion, not bad for a indie company
Man the community server thing especially surf just breaks my cs heart, cs was all about community servers to me and especially surf/combat surf and now its literally unplayable and the community went from small to dead... F valve for that.
The only interaction i have with CS these days is watching tier 1 tournaments... At least its less likely that somebody cheats there. I played CS since day one when it was a mod from half life deathmatch as a kid and yes this is the worst it has ever been in terms of how many are cheating, its just insane...

But once I got to 19k I got cheaters in 8/10 games and I have quit the game now. Game was fun until I reached 19k elo. Was honestly having a great time with it, I bought gloves. Wanted to buy a knife, I was hyped to play. Now I don't even want to touch the game. So he isn't lying. He just isn't high enough rank. Which is fair. 19k is top 2% of all players. So 98% of players aren't dealing with this problem.

i really hope CS situation will get better - i m playing R6 siege mainly, game was dead for last 2 years but NOW since the NEW ANTI-CHEAT detects more players than before, its at least kind of refreshing to see people getting live banned lol. i think too, that above a certain elo cheater percentage goes up till 30 percent or more
Im still relatively new to CS, about 70 hours played, only like 3 on CS2 but so far the low/no rank games are okay. I havent seen a single cheater in the 6 matches I played. Its good as new players can get into the game and play normally but those high ratings must be painful

Everything related to Valve is degrading. The Steam market doesn’t even work half the time. TF2 has been dealing with the bot issue for almost 5 years now and now CS2 has gotten into the same situation but with cheaters. It’s over for this company.

We needed to have the CZcamsrs have their video creation capabilities struck hard to finally have them make a vid about it. Even Valve can't help them with exclusive matchmaking anymore.

Pretty likely we’ll probably be in the lower ratings, but I don’t even know if I’m going to bother trying. Obviously it’s worse at higher ratings, but I can’t imagine it’s a 100% cheater free down at the bottom either. Sad to see cause I was really looking forward to trying out CS again.
It's also happening in the low ELO lobbies as well, my cousin is Gold Nova and I'm Silver Elite and in one of our games on Office we went against 2 closet cheaters on the other team, who failed to hide the fact that they were cheating and then our teammate decided to go completely blatant to combat them since they were obviously cheating and we get closet cheaters on the same map every 2 or 3 games. We also had multiple matches on Mirage against closet cheaters and 1 match against a blatant spinbotter. And we had a match against a blatant spinbotter on Inferno as well. Cheating is at an all time high atm and it needs to be stopped!
i think i could be a refreshing experience and good content as well to play other games (like Valorant beeing similar in some major aspects) until the state of the game is better, i think this was a good decision, cuz big creators quitting will be a big flag for the company
Same for me. Our group used to play 2-5 games everyday, now there is 1 game per day at most with no cheater. Everytime we go like 10:2 or 11:1 and after we switch sites they not even try to hide it...
I quit Csgo a little bit before cs2 released. Haven’t touched it since but still love anomaly, grew up watching him. I never quite understand why valve allowed the hack vs hack servers in the custom games list.

As a newbie player who has watched tournaments for a long time but only started playing recently, I felt so awful. It almost seems impossible to get better at the game because it's relatively harder to build the game sense of what are good things to do and what are not. Not to mention the toxicity of the teammates. I thought league and apex players are toxic, but apparently, I was wrong.

Yes there were cheaters but you could still play at Global. Getting spinbotters was quite rare it was mainly legit cheats at least. Anywhere above around 18k now is just HvH lobbies. Less players means less case openings, as soon as they start losing money they’ll do a U-Turn.

there are sometimes pretty fishy players but not to the the point where it impacts the game by that much

I only play a game or two every few days in MM now if i feel like it. ps i tried going to FACEIT, and in about 2 weeks i had multiple notifications a person i reported got banned for cheating, so FACEIT is not good as people say. Its just a sad story, i have been playing CSGO since release in 2013-2017, and came back into gaming ,built a full setup in 2022 when CS2 was announced.CSGO was a COD4 replacement for me which i played for many years as a teen, only 2 games i played for a veeery long time. You're right. And the main thing is, that the cheaters in CS cause more than just a lost game. Now, everytime me or my squad gets killed, we instantly think someone is cheating, just because there are so many cheaters right now. It leads to several issues regarding the game, and I agree that the game is pretty much unplayable at this point. Adding some Oil to the fire, there are also still some unfixed issues, like minor server problems, bot lobbies and exploits, which make it even harder to really enjoy playing CS. And I'm honestly kinda pissed off, because there is no way Valve doesn't know this. The state the game (and specifically VAC) is in rn is just a shame. Why Warframe, a 2013 free PvE game has absolute ZERO cheaters? There is absolute zero dupe schemes, zero hacks. You can check on youtube. And you know what more? Iff you even say any shit that is against TOS or the ingame chat bot get that you are speaking about PRO-Hacking, you get a 15 YEAR BAN TIME. It bans your IP address and GPU hash. Zero tolerance.

They removed overwatch (the only successful anticheat mesure they ever created)
They managed to re-add patched exploit from 2014/2015, long range esp, no spread, teleport
They managed to add new exploit like rapid fire and esp from console (it happened 3 times)
They failed to secure RCE which wasn't present in CSGO
They decided to hardcode the tickrate so that you can't change it nor for competitive reason, nor for community server reason (surf velocity act different based on the tickrate)
They still haven't fixed ramp bug in surf
They failed to implement a simple way to host a private session with your friends (it was possible in CSGO)
They failed to deliver bob options and instead made a new version that doesn't come near what the community wanted
They failed to fix the crouch on hold, still bugged
And finally, they still haven't implemented weapon on the left side
Valve is worth $7.7 billion, not bad for a indie company

But once I got to 19k I got cheaters in 8/10 games and I have quit the game now.
Game was fun until I reached 19k elo. Was honestly having a great time with it, I bought gloves. Wanted to buy a knife, I was hyped to play. Now I don't even want to touch the game.
So he isn't lying. He just isn't high enough rank. Which is fair. 19k is top 2% of all players. So 98% of players aren't dealing with this problem.

So sad what they have done. Me and my friends used to play so much csgo but we have stopped since cs2 was released. We tried to but just couldn’t.
I quit too few days ago. The hacker state is completely like CSGO non prime where every 2 out of 3 games hacker.
Im still relatively new to CS, about 70 hours played, only like 3 on CS2 but so far the low/no rank games are okay. I havent seen a single cheater in the 6 matches I played. Its good as new players can get into the game and play normally but those high ratings must be painful

Everything related to Valve is degrading. The Steam market doesn’t even work half the time. TF2 has been dealing with the bot issue for almost 5 years now and now CS2 has gotten into the same situation but with cheaters. It’s over for this company.

Pretty likely we’ll probably be in the lower ratings, but I don’t even know if I’m going to bother trying. Obviously it’s worse at higher ratings, but I can’t imagine it’s a 100% cheater free down at the bottom either. Sad to see cause I was really looking forward to trying out CS again.
It's also happening in the low ELO lobbies as well, my cousin is Gold Nova and I'm Silver Elite and in one of our games on Office we went against 2 closet cheaters on the other team, who failed to hide the fact that they were cheating and then our teammate decided to go completely blatant to combat them since they were obviously cheating and we get closet cheaters on the same map every 2 or 3 games. We also had multiple matches on Mirage against closet cheaters and 1 match against a blatant spinbotter. And we had a match against a blatant spinbotter on Inferno as well. Cheating is at an all time high atm and it needs to be stopped!
i think i could be a refreshing experience and good content as well to play other games (like Valorant beeing similar in some major aspects) until the state of the game is better, i think this was a good decision, cuz big creators quitting will be a big flag for the company

Same for me. Our group used to play 2-5 games everyday, now there is 1 game per day at most with no cheater. Everytime we go like 10:2 or 11:1 and after we switch sites they not even try to hide it...
I quit Csgo a little bit before cs2 released. Haven’t touched it since but still love anomaly, grew up watching him. I never quite understand why valve allowed the hack vs hack servers in the custom games list.

i came back to cs2 a week ago , it was my first time playing since the beta , i wanted to play a few games in matchmaking with my friend and everybody was either wallhacking or aimboting
yeah i saw this coming as soon as i was forced off of what was already built up. its a new engine, new game. what do they expect.
What I am the most worried about is the fact that Valve has time to add stickers, cases, and other useless shit. Buy, buy, buy, buy, but they add literally *nothing*. They added Arms Race, with two maps they completely ruined. The lack of content is disgusting.

As a newbie player who has watched tournaments for a long time but only started playing recently, I felt so awful. It almost seems impossible to get better at the game because it's relatively harder to build the game sense of what are good things to do and what are not. Not to mention the toxicity of the teammates. I thought league and apex players are toxic, but apparently, I was wrong.
Mfw cs2 players are complaining about cheaters and bots when tf2 players have been dealing with this problem since 2018 and still going today.
Then why do you keep playing the game? I quit cs2 because i want valve to make a change and i hope a lot of people make that smart decision as well. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result
