I’ve had a few other people say that and so far no one has been able to show me a single image or example of one like this. And not one of the ones that folds down from the top and has legs. I want one that folds up into a table and back down into a usable cabinet. I have yet to get a single actual example of this design

It's been bounced around the US as a transportation option for decades. Musk just tries to steal every concept and idea because he's literally incapable of original thought. Nothing at his companies were his ideas, and Tesla as a company wasn't even his to begin with; he just pushed out the real geniuses who founded the company and claimed everything for himself because his daddy's money gave him that power.
That aside, I agree this is definitely not a new concept. Drop leaf tables have been around for a few centuries, but people who have no concept of the history of woodworking and cabinetry are often clueless about things like this. It's sad because they'd make great built-in options for new homes and rental units for folks with limited means or mobility issues.
Only thing as a chef though, I would love to have it as a working surface so for me I would want it to fold down instead of up to access the cupboard while working. But I love the idea all together.
@@CriosAntari there are a lot of versions of that out there. We wanted to have it at this height and the spice rack higher, so it needed to come from the bottom

Phenomenal it’s the ability of having a table or island etc which I have to have for some reason like I’m always in need of somewhere I can put something down or chop something somewhere etc but w the convenience of being able to put it away out of sight n not in the way and have it there all the time I LOVE IT!!!! I’m literally screaming looking for your website to order!!!! This is what excites me as a mom/widow my hubby would have loved this!!!! As most older wooden fishing boats were small and had to be cabin clever with the available space with folding everything
So glad I was just scrolling through my shorts. We live on land and have a heated and cooled barn. (before someone asks we have solar panels that’s how we keep the cost down and conserve energy) It has a small kitchen. We have not put cabinets or appliances or anything in there yet. Just flooring, walls and plumbing. We have been looking for ways to keep the cost down the purpose of the barn was to protect our animals. We have kids with severe allergies, so no indoor house pets. But are huge animal lovers so we needed a solution. And we wanted/ needed to have a place to use the restroom so we didn’t have to come inside after swimming etc. And for my husband’s equipment but after getting a recent cabinet quote, we weren’t sold we didn’t want it to be house kitchen prices. We looked at getting some do it ourselves cabinets, etc. etc. but something like this would be perfect as it would also give us the option of having a little table so cool I will definitely be purchasing the plans.

Perfect i was just thinking about a folding table for my cave. I wanted a table but didn't want to have a permanent horizontal surface that would become cluttered. I think that this would work great.
I happen to have the same situation, though i opted for something similar in it's function, i chose to have an "additional " worktop, only it is the bottom of the two worktops,the top being fixed as a normal one would be, only there is a "lip"to the front of it that concealed the additional worktop underneath, that i have on a sliding castors or whatever the correct term is, its basically the same idea as a desk that has the drawer/shelf for the keyboard that you merely pull out towards you to use, and push and slide back when not in use .
I really appreciate that there is no compromise in the worktop area, yet so effectively simple.😊😊

I have a tiny little 2 seater table in my kitchen. (Studio apartment). Not sure of the measurements?! 😂...but, I'm a 5ft tall woman, and my full arm (from armpit to fingertip) is the length, AND the width of this little table. 😂 just a tiny square table, perfect for me and my husband. Maybe try something like that!!! 👍
They also have TV trays?!?! Where they open up, and fold the little table part down to use, then they fold back up kinda like this thing in the vid, and you can hang them on the wall when you're done. Except, they're not stationary tho. You can move them anywhere. Just trying to give you more options... in case this thing in the vid doesn't work out. 👍

The front face lifting up is genius, the closest similar thing ive seen was half a picnic table that folds into a bench, with a matching half for a full table, utilizing one hinge but a second point of separation, compared to your two hinge
