time actually goes by really fast when you make kandi! i usually take an hour-3 hours for my kandi (other than flower cuffs which are super easy lol) and i don’t even notice! i just make them late at night when i’m bored while scrolling through tiktok or watching a movie
@@keilanisaucedo5308 Yeah, when I made this i messed up so ended up with some huge cuff that was sucky and i cant tie them off properly
@@cheesypoo2407 i use lame cord instead of stretch cord bc it’s more sturdy, whenever i tie mine off i just tie it as if it’s a shoe! i hope this helps 😟🤞🤞
first part took me like 4-5 hours time goes by really fast though only felt like 1 last part took me I took breaks for like a few days but in total only too me 2-3 hours again went cook only felt like 1
I've been wanting to make one of these for a while, but I still don't have enough beads :,)
Awe! It took me awhile to get them all together! Hopefully you’ll be able to make it in the near future tho!💕💕💕 big hugs!
Aaah! I wanna make so much more kandi but I need new string :”)
How many does it take?
@@Pmptupkx aroung 1300 to 1500 for me bc I made my wrist like 30 or more beads so yea :)
@@mello375 i got mine from Amazon it has four big rolls like the normal one not the tiny for only 10$ and I got my beads from Michaels they were 24$ hope this helps
this is such an amazing tutorial!!! at first i thought rotating cuffs looked SOOOO difficult but this tutorial literally makes it look so easy!!! tysm
Just made the CUTEST Mini Rotator Cuff.. Thank you so much for your help. I often go back to this video for tips! Your directions are great!
idk why but the way you talk is so calming to me 😭 like i tend to get stressed when i don’t understand the pattern but i never seem to during your tutorials
Totally off topic but this kinda looks like a royal high halo
LMFAOOOOO I said the same thing lol
Thought the same thing lol
You are the reason this is my hobby now. I keep coming back. Ty sm ❤
OH MY GOSH YOUR BACK! We missed you so much I’m so happy! Hope everything’s okay, stay safe and your cuff came out beautiful!
I made my first rotating cuff using this tutorial. You made everything clear and easy to follow. My cuff came out amazing!
this is such a good tutorial thank you! i really appreciate how easy it is to follow and your tone is very soothing
Love this tutorial. I used it to make my very first rotating cuff and I Love the way it turned out!!!! Thanx so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was so helpful and I'll definitely be using this video next time I make one, thanks!
thank you so much!! i made my first rotating cuff successfully thanks to you!!
this actually seems easier than i thought!! thank you!!
This a fantastic video. This is the first video I have watched that helped me make a cuff like this. Thank you so much for the amazing video. You’re doing so well. Keep up the good work :).
Thank you so much for this!!! This was so easy to follow. I’ve been so excited to make one of these since I got into kandi crafts. It looked so daunting in the pictures, but I ended up finishing this first one in no time at all!! Legit one of the best tutorials I’ve ever followed, thank you!!!💖💖💖
I'm making a small rotating cuff to wear at school, and I'm excited to see what it'll look like :)
This video was so helpful! I’ve already made two of them! I can’t wait to make more!
I really liked this tutorial I understood everything unlike other videos thanks for the help making this!
I haven’t started yet but 5 minutes in this tutorial seems helpful
Ong just watching
i started mine without the tutorial cuz after i saw the 2 pieces i figured i could do it. i was wrong. good thing i only did the big x part cuz i made it 4 x's instead of 5 and wouldve made the spinning part too small
Thank you for this!!! I thought making a rotating cuff was impossible but I was able to make one thanks to you! :D
I might just have to try this it looks really cool
Yes!! Definitely give it a try! 💕💕
i made my first one a week ago, it was really fun and easy ! im making my second one now
The tutorial was amazing, and your voice is so calming! 😫
This helped me so muchhh!! You explain what to do really clearly:D
This tutorial was SUPER HELPFUL!!!🥰I just made my 1st rotating cuff (except for the inner cuff part)) with rainbow beads & some stars. I then just added some singles over it, & it looks awesome!
Always a pleasure to take in one of your tuts! Tysm!
Awwwe thank you so much!! I truly appreciate that!💕💕 big hugs!💕
Thank u for this! This tutorial was really helpful!!!
Wonderful tutorial I'm making this cuff for a school art project and im very happy you put in how to make an x base cuff :3
You are so detailed thank you
i love how i’m watching a kandi tutorial but doing crochet while watching
I chose this as my very first kandi project and good lord my hands are killing me and it took like 6 hours, so worth it though I love it 😆😆
Thank you sooo much! I have sensory issues and this helps so much! You made it so easy to make this and honestly this is one of my top three favorite tutorials. :)
Make sure you use a plastic yarn needle at the end of your string that your threading with! Makes it so much easier to get the string through the beads!
This actually helped me a lot thanks
This tutorial was very helpful tysm :]
This is one of the best tutorials. I love that you say point bead instead of the bead color because I get so confused when they say the bead color cause my bead colors are different lol
Your voice is soooo calm
I love the tutorial it makes it lok so easy,I might try and scale it down cause my attention span is📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉
I'm stuck on the beginning cuff part lol but this tutorial is great! Imma get it eventually!
I had a lot of trouble too, have you gotten to it yet?
@@eeriedolly I'm sorry but that was a month ago and also what part are you guys having trouble with i might be able to help
@@strawberryjaz-gx4ns I have no trouble anymore, i was just seeing if this person still had issues because it took me 3 months to figure it out lol
@@eeriedolly o my thats along time but I'm glad you got it
@@strawberryjaz-gx4ns hey, I’m having trouble at around 8:15 when she skips an I supposed to keep going on with the three beads or an I supposed to use an earlier l technique?
TYSM OML😭😭😭
thank you sm!!
My cousin sent me this and I love it! I just need to go get the materials haha
TY SO MUCHHHHH
thanks for the tut! it'll look great with my cosplays :D
I’m making a Milan inspired one for my friends Milan cos!
Thank you!
Hi I’m new to kandi I really just have singles and I really love your Chanel btw you helped a lot
ive made my second one one with this tutorial
Would regular elastic string work as well? I would love to make one of these, but they're so time consuming and if it's going to come out flimsy due to the elastic I wouldn't want to waste time on it! Thanks!!
It should, I’ve seen other ppl use it
@@flazlame3562 thank you!
I am cutting making one with elastic string and I'm done with the base and it's holding up pretty well so yeah
it does! i made all of mine with elastic
Elastic tends to work better than the plastic string. The plastic string is harder to work with (in my experience), and is more likely to explode. Do be careful with how tight your elastic is. Also better for the rotating part to slide on and off
How big should my second piece be if I used 33 beads instead of 36 for the first part?
At least 36 to 38 beads
You have to do an even amount of beads for a base
@@alphabetsoup9480 you just have to have it a multiple of 3
How many beads did you use and how many feet of string?
THANK YOU. absolutely destroyed my purple and black bead supply tho.
ill now be selling this at my lemonade/kandi bead stand thank you very much
OMFB that would look amazing as a chunk chocker... obviously not super tight of course
I'M ALMOST DONE WITH MY SQUID SISTER CUFF AHAHAHHH
thank youuuuuuuu!!!!!1!!!!
I made half of one once.... I gave up.
Question for the spinny part do we have to make in a x cuff way of can we do it in a flat or ladder cuff way??
About how much string do you need for both cuffs?
Do you have to do the 2-1 pattern because I kind of want to do five colors twt
IM DEFINITELY GINNA GO THIS
i really wanna mąkę one but i dont know what colours to use and i dont have much beads
Im making this for me friend :D
This seems very easy to follow but my walmart only sells a pack of 2300 beads divided into lots of colors only to leave a little bit of beads in one color- anyone know a place where i cam buy/order bulk? Also does anyone know roughly how much beads this rotating cuff I would need?
I 100% recommend amazon (though fuck amazon) it's the best place to buy bulk beads-! but I haven't made the cuff yet so i do not know how many beads it takes :(
Bead tin! Huge shipping expense (to me lmao) but you can get a lot of beads fir a pretty good price!
Beadtin is pretty great that's where I got my beads I would definetly recommend that instead of Amazon since of all the shitty things about that company
I didnt know they were two pieces >~
Does 1.2-2mm cloth covered string work as well? I’m really interested in making one :D
Im going to try and do this but instead of the rotating part being a pyramid im going to do a carousel style and see how it turns out
Can I make this with the inside piece being a one x?
Where did you buy the ducks?
I know this may be a difficult answer but how many beads would you say you need of each color if you’re only doing the two?
Oakayeje so all i have to do left is add the rotating part but i did 30 beads for the main to fit me more so what do i do for the rotator bc u said 51 and thats for the 36 beads?
Dose this work with hama beads??
Does a rotating cuff HAVE to be 5 Xs tall? I have a 4x cuff I made, will it still look okay?
How long do I need to make the string for the size you're makijng
If I replace the black beads with beads that are star-shaped, does it still work?
It’s possible since I did that with my outer cuff on the 3D parts. In my experience, the X pattern will look a bit wonky, & the stars will also be sitting somewhat crooked. Most of my star beads stay upright while a few lay flat. Otherwise, the cuff looks AMAZING. ⭐️👅⭐️
how do I know the string length I need? I dont want to end up missing like 2" or having too much left over
I am so glad I have a small wrist
Super helpful
could i use a ufo cuff fir the rotating part
yes
9:53 don’t mind
attemptin this rn,,., pray 4 me lolz
I just got 5000+ beads so I'm making one!!!
How many beads does it take to
Ummm Where did you find the rubber duck beads
5 x’s tall for the bottom bit?
Nooooooo I started making one and I ran out of beads at the 3d bit. I got the top 3d bit done but the bottom isn't done :') I'm trying to make a Bonnie (FNAF 2 version) FNAF themed rotating cuff and I ran out of blue. How am I supposed to make it Bonnie themed without blue 😤
What happens if you run out of string I need help
15:00
Can i make a 3 x for the base and the rotator a 1x? I dont have that much beads
most likely !!
Im gonna try to do that bc I dont have that meny beads
Totally! Go for it :D
*causually steals your idea because everyone is saying it works*
Update loll! Forgot. It works but only a single fixs in the middle!!
is it ok to use cord with the fabric around it?
You don't want to. You're going to want to use like fishing line.
I'm making one with fabric covered string. You just need to make it really tight it works fine
How many orange beads I have about 100+ blue ones
Me watching this even tho I don't make kandi. I just wear it:
approximately how many beads were used?
A lot
11:40 just making a time stamp for where I left off
does this havw to be an x cuff or could you use a different cuff type?
it has to be xbase, otherwise the 3d spikes won't work
I ran out of my main beads half way in :,)
I did this all in one sitting and I think I broke my back lol
9:38
how many beads around is the second xbase cuff
51 for around the 36
@@sock225 thank u
I want to make this so bad but I don’t have string or beads :’)
