Chandrakant bhai - N D S N (Sam and nyaas)....sounds like Shankara, doesn't it? It is unusual for Bihag to go from D to S or DNS, although there have been instances of such a transition by some experts. Happy to be advised.

in this swar malika, after N D, there is a coma, and then S' N P is there, which is valid in Raag Bihag. If we read continuous N D S' N P , then it looks like there is D S', but if we see like this, N D; and then S' N P then there is no problem. Some unusual phrases makes Raag more beautiful & melodious.

Sir while going through the notation, it seems that at one of the taan you had mentioned Komal Ni. Is that right or typing mistake.
Please clarify
Komal ni is a vivadi swar in Raag Bihag. it can be taken sometimes in Raag Bihag. specially when u take pa ni dh pa ma ga re sa ......u can take komal Ni in spl case. its allowed in Raag Bihag.

Thank you for precious composition. Sir please appreciate my few suggestions if possible:
(i) vocal notation or vocal lyrics with taal is helpful for learning. Otherwise not helpful.
(ii) mukta alap, bol alap, antra alap and taan 8 matra and 16 matra along with some jhala will complete the raag composition.
(iii) your tutorial is now reached to advance stage, above advance material is needed for composition as much as you can do.
At last, I request you for a tutorial on raag Pahari as you had played.🙏
(1) as this is swar malika, no vocal lyrics r there in this composition. otherwise i always put vocal lyrics in my other tutorials.
(2) Bol aalap is only for Vocals, i put tutorials for instrumentals, Mukt aalaap is already there. Antara alaap & Taan with Jhala is missing, will surely try to encorporate it next time, Thanx a lot for ur suggestion.
(3) Will surely post some advance materials along with Vilambit Bada khayal & other things.
