Oxford defeats Parker to advance to second round of Class 6A playoffs.

Mark Everett Kelly of the Anniston Star interviews members of the Oxford Yellow Jackets, who defeated the Parker Thundering Herd by a combined score of 34-0 (won both games by the score of 17-0) in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs.
Here are the highlights
Kainen Bozeman - went 5-for-7 on the day with five runs scored and four RBI’s (Mr. Kelly said three on the video)
Nick Richardson - went 5-for-5 on the day with four runs scored (Mr. Kelly said he scored three runs in Game 2, but he only scored two!). Nick allowed just one hit in 4.2 innings in Game 2, striking out five and walking five.
R.J. Brooks - went four hitless innings starting Game 1 on the mound, striking out 10 batters.
Carter Johnson - 4-6, 5 RBIs, 4 runs scored in both games.
Tide Gann - 3-for-3, 3 RBI in Game 2.
Zakaree Newton - scored three runs in doubleheader.
