    What Is The Minority Mindset?
The Minority Mindset has nothing to do with the way you look or what kind of family you're from. It's a mindset.
Give the majority $200 and they will come back with a pair of shoes. Give the minority $200 they will come back with $2,000.
Think from the mindset of a consumer and be the provider, that's the Minority Mindset. Don't be the majority. #MIH #ThinkMinority #FinancialLiteracy

    Fast food kills you AND your budget;
I found an extra 400 dollars in my budget by cooking all my meals at home, only going out to eat on special occasions or dates. This was something I couldnt do when I was homeless!
The way I became un-homeless (lol) when I was living in my car, was finding an extra 300 in my budget by doing small things like changing my cell phone plan, reducing my eating dramatically to only cheap sides at the hospital cafeteria and saving 10% on my car insurance by taking the 5 hour point reduction course.
I saved my first and last months rent and security deposit and got an apartment. if I had saved earlier I would have never had to hustle through the winter in the car, but it taught me the real value of saving, and now I will never be in that situation again (hopefully) lol

pilgrim985 I eat out all the time and I am fine financially. The secret is to do what is most important to you without worrying about the money. Have one or two activities that you do this. Then, save the difference. Everything else I make money on goes into savings then into investments. I save $2,000 a month by doing this. Since I have built up quite an emergency cushion already, all present and future “savings” goes directly into my investments. It’s the easiest way to save and invest. I am almost a millionaire by doing this.

I prioritize my activities. Whatever is the most important than I can spend money on it without worry. Everything else is a day by day choice that usually ends with me not spending money. This is the easy way. I save $2,000 and sometimes more every month by doing this. I don’t make a lot, only $45,000 to $50,000 a year. I am halfway to being a millionaire just by doing this.

I did that. Bring my own food to work. I also sold stuff I didn’t need anymore. Plus I’m trying to get customers for my artistic skills for people who are looking for a tattoo design, graphic design for t- shirts, children’s illustrations, logo design for their personal interest while I make a living on the side with my day job. Internet, no cable. Plus I live with my parents with no need of paying rent but I do provide food and help around the house. Saving my money, and still growing. 💰

If u still have Netflix, watch the doc. “The Minimalists” It puts things into perspective re: keeping up w/ The Joneses and focusing on what u really need, decluttering.
Physical clutter = mental clutter. It’s a less stressful lifestyle when u don’t feel the need to have excess. More things don’t = happiness. You will just keep acquiring things u don’t use anyway.

Cars: Toyota is the most reliable. Hondas have better engines but weak automatic transmissions. Change all fluids and filters every 50000miles or 5 years. Oil is cheap engines and transmissions are expensive, etc.
Obay the speed limit in town and take your foot off the gas pedal when you see a red light. Look 6 seconds ahead so you know what's going on before you get there to avoid unnecessary stopping and starting.

Lucas x you should look into ETFs...historically, mutual funds don’t beat the market after you adjust their returns to account for management fees, trading fees, and other similar expenses that are prevalent for mutual funds. ETFs function in the same way as mutual funds, except they are not actively managed so they have significantly less costs. Your expense ratios can be as low or lower than 0.04% with these products and over the long term they at least match or beat the majority of mutual funds when adjusting for fees incurred. Awesome products

Also. LED lights. Given roughly 10 months (or shorter if you use your light bulb more than 3-5 hours a day), you can make your money back in electricity savings alone over incandescents. And then you are also not replacing the light bulb as often. Even when someone's a dumbass and knocks over your lamp, bursting the bulb...since the bulb is just a fancy cover for the tiny LED inside.
Oh and those water-efficient shower heads. Water's much less expensive (in my area), but I found one on Amazon for like 12 bucks. Probably a good investment. (Haven't run the numbers on it....well, I did, but I simply never committed it to memory.)

A permanent Job? lol. I've been working the same full time job for 1.5yrs and intend on staying here for 3 total unless I can climb the ladder and increase my salary at which point my dedication increases with the added benefits. Ideally you shouldn't get comfortable in employment that doesn't offer opportunity for promotion. As for myself I'm focusing on investing so that I can be independently wealthy and not have to work a job where submission to others is necessary. With my current plan of action my trajectory will allow me to retire by 35 and I'm not talking about the standard minimum 401k. But thanks for the advice 😂

Since then I don't believe in the concept of "luck" aka mere random chances of fortune or mis-fortune. I believe hard work and dedication is what gets the job done and will always yield the most consistent growth & success.

Jomo-Kenyatta1 I gotcha but I stopped blowing my funds after this video and more than tripled my savings since then. I just entered the cryptocurrency market and I'm doing really well for myself. The difference between me and most employees is that I have literally Zero expenses so I have freedom to move my assets around however I like. My employer provides my food and housing at no cost to me. I have no dependents and no auto so I don't pay for insurance. Manifest your destiny. Determination and application did a lot to move me forward from a point if insecurity.
