Martin is right about the pots, non stick pots are coated with a chemical called Teflon, this chemical has a compound known as C8, it has been linked to various cancers and birth defects but it also lowers testosterone in men and disrupts normal hormone function. I learnt this from one of Murder Mystery and Makeup videos (The Du Pont Chemical Poisoning) that involved the companies that make these pots. I just wanted to add a small 2c even though Martin seems like his mind is made up 😭😂 buuut, the way that they could have potential effect on your health is if the actual material lifts off the pot/pan and could enter the food. The way to avoid this is to use silicone/rubber utensils in with them - not metal and not plastic because it will melt. all non stick products are intolerant to metal against them because they scratch and lift that non-stick coating. Cast iron pots are great for specific dishes, although you can't necessarily use them for like frying an egg or things like that - stainless steel pots are really good, cleaning shouldn't be an issue if while you cook with them, you allow the pot/pan to get reeally hot, then turn the heat down and then cook - this helps the food not to stick to the pan, like a fried egg or bacon for example. Essentially what i am trying to say is all the different kinds of pots are useful and safe** in different ways for as long as they are used appropriately. I'm so sorry for the long comment and perhaps unsolicited, I have no bad intention with it 🙈💞💞
