Lulu should be S tier for no reason other than gifting us with “I AM THE TABLE”

And justice for all has easily the best drumming Lars has ever displayed. It’s good to the point where he can’t play half the parts today

I still have a vivid memory of my dad listening to Load and then throwing the cassette out the window saying “what a load of shit”

It hurt when you said Phantom Lord and Whiplash are forgettable. Kill em All is my favorite Metallica album and I’m a huge fan of the production, I just absolutely love that raw thrash sound.

I love how everybody complained that there was no bass on Justice so some guy on the internet made a version where the bass is like 3 times louder than the rest of the band

Hearing whiplash be described as forgettable genuinely cut me deep

Even the worst albums have some great tracks. One of the deepest catalogues you can find.

Opinion Alert: James Hetfield’s vocals sound better than James LaBrie’s

I think Ride the Lightning is underrated. The tone for sure could have been better, but I think it contains Metallica's best writing outside of The Black Album. In my opinion, it comprises Kirk Hammett's best solos.

LuLu is good for barbecue just so you know, I heard shit is a really good firestarter

Ride the lightning in my opinion is the best metallica album i just love how ride the lightning album flows and creeping death is so under rated

Spit Out The Bone is one my favorites from the new one. Something about Kirk Hammett solo in the middle that i adore, gives me flashblack too the older stuff.

ride the lightning is my personal favorite. the songs range from tearjerking to fucking bloodthirsty. i like less than average production especially from the decades previous. i love a lot of the records but ride the lightning is just really damn good. great video, mike!

I actually really like the production on Kill Em All. It's raw, it's got a lot of energy, and it has a sizzling bite to it. The guitars sound like chainsaws and it's awesome. Metal doesn't have to sound clean to be a good production, it has to get it's point across. Kill Em All is the sound of someone being bludgeoned to death with a mallet

All I will say, is that Orion is probably my favorite instrumental track of all time. Some of the riffs in that are just sexy for lack of a better term

When played live, "Frantic" and "St Anger" itself.. sound really good. Proper snare sound in conjunction with the rest of the live set, proper good guitar tone, and Hetfield nailing the vocals right on the money. Really believe that, with a good bit of editing, Kirk laying down some structured soloing, better production and making Invisible Kid invisible from the album, it could have been genuinely good.
