I’m from Kerala. I was never interested in Shivaji Maharaj (like most of the people in South) merely because I was ignorant about his life. But from last one year I started reading about Maharaj’s life and I could feel why he’s such an emotion for people of Maharashtra. Now I realise how important was he to people of south also. It’s because of Maharaj we still have all these temples in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Marathas fought and spilled blood so that Mughals couldn’t cross the Maharashtra region due to which entire south was in safe custody. Nowadays I also feel like a Maratha. Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji ❤️

और जो बोला जाता है कि काशी मदीना होती सुन्नत होती सबकी ये इतना इसमें सच्चाई नहीं हैं क्यूंकि राजपुत विद्रोह करना शुरु कर देते अगर जोर जर्बदस्ती का इस्लाम में परिवर्तित किया गया जाएगा तों और जो काशी हैं वों औरंगजेब के अंडर हीं आता है शिवाजी महाराज बहुत बहुत हीं छोटे राज्य के राजा थे कोई बड़ी सेना उनके पास नहीं थीं अगर कोई मदत कर देते शिवाजी महाराज को बड़ी सेना रखनें के लिएं और शिवाजी महाराज साउथ में जाकर विजयनगर साम्राज्य जो बचाखुचा था उसकी मदत लेते और बड़ी सेना खड़ी करतें तों हों सकता था औरंग़ज़ेब को हरा देते
परंतु उतना बडा साम्राज्य नहीं था उनका तब औरंग़ज़ेब के समय
राजसिंह का बडा साम्राज्य था उनका उनको भूनना पडा नींव रखनी पड़ी इसीलिए और औरंगजेब कर सकता थां पर संधियों की वजह से बंधा हुआ था
ये लोग आपकों नहीं मिर्ज़ा राजे जयसिंह के पुत्र रामसिंह ने शिवाजी महाराज को बाहर निकाला ये बात भीं नहीं बताएंगे

I am living in pune . I knew it but Marathas respect him and treat him like a God. But what about the rest of India. The entire nation has no idea what he has done. The nehru dynasty elaborated him like a local hero. This is the problem. Almost the same scenario with Netaji as well.

Believe me there are beautiful narrators in Marathi..who tells Maharaj's history in sach a detail with patriotism that goose bumps floods all over the body.

Bengal before shivaji Maharaj birth comprised of Bihar jharkhand Orissa west Bengal and Bangladesh so much land was conquered by Mughals , imagine now Bangladesh is 20 crores Muslims then that time Bangladesh n west Bengal together comprise of nawab of Bengal army would have killed hindu population had it been that Marathas did not invaded n fought the nawab of Bengal. Because of Marathas atleast west Bengal was saved. So Marathas were bargis against the nawab n Mughals of Bengal.. please convey the same to fellow hindu Bengali brother...
