In 1982 at the age of 16 years old, I took my first trip to the Oceano Dunes (Pismo). Since then I've made hundreds of trips to various dines, Glamis, St Anthony's, Oregon Dunes, Sand Mountain, Dumont, pulling many a trailer with many a vehicle. The one constant that I have learned is you need to air down to less than 20 lbs on all four tires including the trailer your pulling. If you do that, you can go through any sand pulling any trailer and not get stuck. The only problem with all these new trucks is that even when you turn off all of the traction control's and stability control's, these new trucks still don't disable them completely. Give me an older Duramax with 16" wheels and stock tires with no nanny computer BS and I'd fly right through that section in 2WD with nary a problem.

This is actually a great deal for 60k when a smaller, uglier Raptor is 75k.
When you are getting stuck like that it helps 2 turn the wheel side to side, that gives the front tires more to grab onto.

If Tesla ever builds a truck this barbaric vehicle will be a door stop. What an ancient piece of machinery, hasn't changed for 50 years or more. If horses drank fuel we would still be in a horse and carriage, my god trucks are so awful.
