From what i have seen, if you mutually respect each others' faiths and agree not to interfere too much with each others beliefs system, harmony follows. It gets harder when the kids come along as then you will then have to decide what faith the kid practices. My husband and I agreed to raise our child Christian instead of Hindu like he is, but also agreed if our child wants to become a Jew or whatever when he grows up, we will respect that.
