    • @DillonCleans
      @DillonCleans  Pƙed 2 lety +2

      Those expensive ones have one advantage and that’s build quality. Those machines will probably last 15-20 years easily. Most likely even longer. But these vacuum still work amazingly well at a good price and will still last you a good long while. Sharks are great!

      Awesome! All 3 of these vacuums are amazing and my personal pick in the vertex since it cleans a little better and has a few more bells and whistles. But the apex is an amazing choice that I still use all the time

    How do you compare the Apex to the Stratos? I find the apex appealing for easy access to the brush rolls but Stratos seems to be cheaper right now than Apex.

    • @DillonCleans
      @DillonCleans  Pƙed 4 měsĂci

      The stratos is better than the vertex when it comes to cleaning. The apex was truthfully never that great at carpets, but the stratos is much much better. It also has a much better bin system, as well as anti tangle brush roll. Not having access to the brushroll has not been a problem for me personally, and I haven’t seen complaints online. I personally prefer the vertex over both because I think it’s balanced better and is the easiest to maneuver. But it is extremely similar to the stratos. Overall, it’s better than the apex in just about every way. Other than the little light on the handle, I do miss that.

    Great video I was wondering your opinion on other reviews I’ve seen which bash shark vacuums claiming they’re false advertising. I wanted to purchase of one their vacuums but I was looking for other reviews

    • @DillonCleans
      @DillonCleans  Pƙed rokem +1

      A lot of people do like to bash shark and say their stuff is terrible and false advertising. The 100% truth is they are great machines that work really well for their price. The people that say they are horrible own $800 vacuums. Not everyone can afford that. And in my tests, sharks have done better than the expensive machines. So for the price they are great. And as long as you wash the filter and do maintenance on them. They will last a decent amount of time. Average life of a shark is about 7 years. But I own one that I’ve had for 10 years and it’s still going strong.

      @@DillonCleans thanks your your reply, I was in doubt because I recently came across this YT channel named “Performance Reviews” that seems to have a strong dislike for Shark’s products. He showed its performance as being very lackluster, leaving behind large amounts of debris compared to bagged vacuums which he claims are significantly better. His tests all demonstrated the sharks with minimal suction power, although they did come off as biased and unfair. This is why I questioned the authenticity of Sharks which I hoped to order.

    • @DillonCleans
      @DillonCleans  Pƙed rokem +1

      @@imaginemyshocko1455 performance reviews is a channel run by someone who has a strong hatred for anything bagless and not Miele, sebo, or central vac. The truth is not everyone can afford them. And his “budget picks” in my opinion aren’t good. His tests are very flawed and I have spoken to many other CZcamsrs about them. He makes sharks and Dysons and really anything bagless seem like a piece of garbage. He isn’t very nice as a person himself. He is an adult who has sort of been known to throw little fits when people don’t agree with him. And he even told me ( a minor ) to kill myself. And this isn’t my opinion on him. These are facts on him. These are things he’s actually done and said. I don’t associate myself with him in any way shape or form. I congratulate him on his knowledge, expertise, and dedication to his work as well as his videos. However, he doesn’t like to admit the truth. And that’s what some people have realized about him. And why he has a poor reputation with other collectors. Now as for shark vacuums, they are probably the best thing you can get for you buck. They work well. Have great features. Clean well. And for a good price. Won’t last 20 years like a sebo. But will work a lot better in the time that it is around.

      @iMaGiNeMyShOcK /o\ I used to watch that channel and recently unsubscribed because of his bias. I debated bagged vs. Bagless, and he kept telling me basically that I was wrong. He's convincing, I'll give him that, but as a so-called professional, he doesn't have an open mind at all and pushes expensive, bagged every time. Dillon is awesome and check out Vacuum Wars also. He doesn't seem to have any bias
