This was one of the most
heart rendering Processions I've seen. In terms of the C.A.F, this is huge. I served on an Honour Guard for the Queen Mother, that had less Armed forces members in it.
It brought tears of gratitude to my eyes to see him remembered like this. He gave his life guarding our Honoured and Unknown dead. There is no greater sacrifice a soldier can give, the least we can do is show our gratitude, and making his final Parade and public show of thank you.
This and the public salutes on the Highway of heroes, makes me so proud of my Country and our citizens. We honour, appreciate and Value our Vets.
Please tell one next time you see her, or him.

I’m just now seeing this. I live in the United States, am 61 and spent over 35 years in law enforcement and firefighting. My family, including my son have bent mostly in law enforcement, firefighting, members of ever ark if the military, members of medical in every manner likely, and yes even many members of the clergy. We figure we would just cover about everything.
I’ve seen many funeral processions of military (all branches) law enforcement and firefighting here in the states. But with the exception of New York, which includes participation of the police and fire, no matter which service, and maybe some large cities, they don’t come close to the participation I’ve just witnessed. While I didn’t serve in the military, I was turned down for med reasons, I am fiercely patriotic, and it doesn’t matter if it’s here or over seas in your part of the world. I get very emotional for final salutes, our Taps, missing man flights etc and will likely cause tears to flow. Most of my career I served in our 911 Emergency Communications, and have done many of our last calls, for many months police and fire funerals. It’s not easy, and usually I’m unable to work a full shift when I do.
I know this is a long post, but I wanted to convey where I am, what I’ve done, and why I am so consumed with paying final respects did those that put their lives on the line each and every day. I was just completely blown away by the participation of what I can tell, each and every unit of military, police, fire and some I didn’t know. God Bless each and every one of you, and especially the men red if the family of your fallen brother. May God protect each of you as you serve your country, as we do ours.

I love in Kansas, and I still have many friends involved in the Blue Line. It seems like every day for many years, more so after Obama, that officers are killed somewhere in the states. More and more officers killed for NK reason, except the wear the uniform and badge. Please everyone on the roads, watch out for each other, watch your six, and know mo matter where you are here in the USA, and I can make it to watch your six, I’ll strap on and back you.

On October 22, 2014, at Parliament Hill in Ottawa. At the Canadian National War Memorial, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau fatally shot Corporal Nathan Cirillo, a Canadian soldier on ceremonial sentry duty. He then entered the nearby Centre Block parliament building, where members of the Parliament of Canada were attending caucuses. After wrestling with a security guard at the entrance, Zehaf-Bibeau ran inside and was cornered and killed by the Commons Sergeant-at-Arms, Kevin Vickers, after a shootout with parliament security personnel.
