What structure and bullet points your motivation letters had? - We are as prospective international students, in an application period right now, so I think this kind of video might be super helpful to most of us who follow you constantly! @@TruthAlways563 Right. But the latter part only applies, if you pick your university by accomodation.
      The question is harder than you might think. It's more about getting something vs. getting nothing, not the price.
      Some students startup in a tent, before they find something.
      Of course, for 3000 you get a Hotel ...
      In Würzburg a car might help a little, as it get's cheaper, as more you want to drive daily into the countryside.
      Greifswald is the most popular, considering accomodation. As less industrry a location has, as lower the income for everybody, as lower the rent for appartments.
      Bavaria in general isn't cheap.

    • @waleed6210
      @waleed6210 Před 28 dny +1

      Both are good options. TU Darmstadt is near Frankfurt and that's where all the banks are located. TU Munich also has many good potential employers nearby especially in the Tech industry. Academically, TU Munich is the best option and has the best reputation. However, TU Darmstadt isn't that far off and the differences between top universities in Germany is almost negligible. Lastly, the housing market is horrible in both cities but Munich is in a different league because the rent there is extremely high for german standards. If you don't have any trouble Accommodation wise then I would recommend TU Munich.

      There are hundreds of different courses across universities in Germany. Therefore, you should do your own research for these kinds of questions. Luckily, I study business informatics and am familiar with it. Informatik is the standard IT course which is Computer Science. Computer Engineering is an interdisciplinary field which is the interface between Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. I'm not quite sure what Informatiktechnik is. It sound more like a job title something like setting up the Hardware and Software for companies.

    Sorry, Germany is not where you want to go if you want to make big money (try USA instead).
    Those 10k are possible, but very rare and or only after 10+ years of experience (think of how many years a doctor has to study/residency).
    By then, you might already have a family with kids. Even with €10k, after taxes and insurance, you are left with €5.7k. After family expenses and housing costs (€1-3k+ for a family), you will still have some money left and can lead a comfortable life, but you likely still can't afford eating out everyday.
    And this is already the top 10% of society. Most people, even with engineering degrees, may not even reach that after 20 years of working (depending on industries). It doesn't mean they won't have a fulfilling life, but if you only care about maximizing your earnings, Germany is not the right place.
