It's April on this small UK farm and finally the first amazing pheasant eggs have arrived. So far the Grey Peacock pheasants have laid 2, the Reeves pheasants 2, and I've also had a few pheasant eggs from the Golden Pheasants and Silver Pheasants. Just waiting on the Lady Amhurst pheasants too now.
Meanwhile, the rare breed sheep are out in the pasture, with their lambs jumping around and the market garden is finally beginning to thrive.

Aw lovely to see the happy piglets. Garden looking good.
It's getting there!!
Lovely video. You’ve come so far since I first started watching your channel.
Thanks! And I know ... strange looking back sometimes. But a good reminder of how much done!
Hey Geoff. Pheasant eggs, a good sign, may it continue. Great to see the ewes and lambs outside, well other than 4 of them, the Jacob with a Norfolk Horn lamb, either mum or dad gets about. Pity about the Muskovy. Good to see the growing areas, things seem to be drying out for you, we have had a huge amount of rain and high winds recently, we are glad we lamb inside. We are getting into the main lambing now. I hope all continues to thrive. Thanks for this vid. Geoff.
Jacob and Johnny.
Weather is still ghastly, isn't it?! Probably worse with you guys. Hope lambing is going well. 😀
@@BrimwoodFarm It is, a little calmer this evening, thankfully.
Yes thanks, lambing id going very well, it doesn't take long since we reduced our stock but we still keep our pensioners, like you do.
Thanks Geoff. Jacob and Johnny.
Contact your local beekeeper club they may have volunteer swarm collectors that the local.council call when a swarm is reported. They go collect the swarm and then need to pass it on to someone. I used to do it and many new beekeeps got their bees that way.
Great tip!
Looking more and more good. We've had the same winds in Kent. Have you thought of growing lemon balm (really easy) as you can sell bunches for tea - and bunches of herbs (culinary/face cleanse/sage smudge sticks) - I know it's more things to do :)....
Really great idea! I sell a few bunches of parsley but want to do more in the way of herbs
Got my first quails today one of them has laid egg but I want to breed them? Help any tips? 😊
i just got lady amherst (2 males, 3 females) but only one of the females lays eggs 2 times in a week or so. Can it be because they just got moved to a new home? is that maybe why they dont lay eggs?
Great video, i love your Pheasants
Hey, may well be the stress of moving. But also I find mine often don't readily lay daily. She'll lay every few days and have a clutch of between 20 and 30 and then stop.
@@BrimwoodFarm Oh okay thx😁
