- Skid Row performing on October 15, 1988, in Raritan, New Jersey, at the Raritan Manor. They play the entire first album. The video isn't great but it's the best quality there is. The audio is pretty good. The setlist is:
1:07 Midnight
4:29 Sweet Little Sister
8:05 Piece Of Me
10:47 Can't Stand The Heartache
15:19 18 & Life
19:09 Big Guns
23:19 Forever
27:35 Rattlesnake Shake
31:28 I Remember You
36:44 Here I Am
40:49 Youth Gone Wild
45:30 Makin' A Mess - Hudba
Saw Skid Row for the first time live on October 3, 1989 opening for Bon Jovi. I was 24 days from 19 years old. I fell in love with that band immediately. Saw them several times after that up through 1995.
I fell in love after I watched "Youth Gone Wild" on MTV Headbangers Ball" I was 15.
My favorite singer.
I love everything about Bas's voice
It's soft, beautiful and full of rawness and power.
And he's awesome live.
So full of energy.
❤
He’s got some awesome range
SB at his prime time is God of Voice
The best original line up from skid fuckin row
Forever would have been a hit if it was included on the debut album.
I love the first album to death but it would have fit perfectly on it or atleast knock off a song like Cant stand the heartache!
@@metalheart3334 i agree that, "can't stand the heartache" is the worst song on the album. but at the same time, "forever" would never have been a hit single/video in '89. where is the hook & its nowhere near as good as the singles from the debut.
absolutely i love that song too bad they not do that
Absolutely
What wouldn’t I have given to have this back in highschool in the late 90s… SB was the reason I became a singer. This is fckn dope!!!!
Vocals incredible
So raw and Powerful
Thank you so much and God bless you a million times over for posting this great and precious concert video. This is exactly 💯 the same type of rare live concert video of Skid Row I have wanted to see posted for God knows how long.
There is very few videos of Skid Row playing in 1988 or 1987 available.
At this point I suspect their first album was already done being recorded but still in the mixing and mastering stages. Scotti mentioned in an interview somewhere they recorded it in "Summer of 1988."
Some of these songs I never heard them play live before either. It is heartbreaking they had their internal conflicts because from the outside looking in, they were as original and unique as could be. Someone a long time ago described them as being an "East coast Guns N Roses" which is completely accurate.
the video is 240p but the Bach's voice is 4K
Thank you so much! 😮
Fucking gold.
I love this band. In these day i'm haves 14 years. When loking video of 18 and life i alucinet all night. Thanks for this video❤
Uuuuuu...pensé que había visto todo de skid row. Pero esto es inedito de verdad. De echo no hay mucho video en el 88.
Great to hear "Forever" live! I agree with most others that it should've been included on the first album.
This is epic.
very, very cool. only 3 months later they are on the Bon Jovi tour and probably the 2nd most popular band in 1989.
@@javtimestwo I always rank them 2nd to Guns N’ Roses. Bach and Axl were reallt great
@@javtimestwo Nevermind it just said they were on the '88-'89 tour, not that they opened for them in '88. They didn't open for them till '89 after their album came out. I read it wrong.
@@shellybean9 You think the Bon Jovi New Jersey tour booked a date in Raritan, NJ?
The New Jersey tour started Halloween 1988 and it began in Europe. The 1st American date of the tour was Jan '89 in Honolulu
@@javtimestwo I didn't check what month just that they toured with Bon Jovi in '88 and '89. I guess this was before the Bon Jovi tour?
la voce di seb è incantevole ,dio del palcoscenico 🤩
In 1988 the first album didn't cameout yet but these concert already had
Love it, thank you for sharing!

This is some awesome footage
Una joya, Forever nunca crei verla y oirla tocar, gracias.
Skid Row ❤
Forever live…great
Love this song off of skid rows greatest hits album too
Epic Pearl!
These 5 guys was on fire
Lol....gone mild!! The new dude is good, but no Sebastian - the real deal. He's a legit front man. Erik lacks the power & charisma Baz had. He looks out of place with the other guys....
🤘🏿
Godamn
Please don't blaspheme the Name of God. Peace!

Hi there! Do you happen to know if Bon Jovi's set from this show is also available as video? Pretty rare footage this is.
was that snake in the beginning waving at the camera?
To the Original Poster, can you isolate "Forever" and make it its own youtube video?
It could be restored pretty nicely these days
This was the last time Sebastian Bach had amazing dope until he met Ricky….
Ugh... that was before signed... 'Forever' was one of the best songs on this album, and the label removed that song... They would have removed "Here I am" or "Rattlesnake Shake"
Baz was the only shining light in that band. But skids were on a fast descent down before they got rid of him. Guess that's what happens when you bring nothing new to the game people move on quickly. Skids were just another band that jumped on the metal bandwagon, and they had no place being there in the first place.
You don't seem to be aware of the bands history......Botch was singing in a cover band.....Snake and Rachael had written and recorded the entire first record with a different singer. Scabby was found by Jon Bon Jovis mommy at a record company party......he was forced into the band. They currently play venues twice the size of Botch. Fat drunk bloated Vince Neil shot out cashed voice.
@@shawnray2941 that is the funniest thing i have read TODAY. Have a hissy why don't you, you big girl. Facts are facts. They were shit before baz and are shit now. Get over it. They had no place in the music industry to begin with. It was the Jovi connection that got them to a point and baz took them beyond it. They are just an average as fuck band.
