At 35:00 he says expectancy is 60*0.8=0.48 I think it's erroneous, the formula for expectancy is Reward * winning probability - losing probability (which in this case is 1 - 0.8 = 0.2 So expectancy should be calculated as 60 * 0.8 - 0.2 = 0.48 - 0.20 = 0.28

I don't think so you have given the right logic of not using hedging as by using hedging we can significantly reduce capital requirement to one third which increases the return on capital employed.
