    This video was so informative! The amount of detail and number of examples was very helpful. Thank you for showing someone with warmth who is gray - which can be a tricky combination to get the right colours for.

      Most welcome, beautiful to hear that it was helpful for you. Many women struggle in that time when their hair goes grey and they don´t know what to do with it or how to transition without losing confidence in their beauty.

    A very beautiful woman with a very beautiful color palette. I like that you explained a lot more in this video, that really helps with understanding your system way better. If you'd write a book about it, I'd be glued to that until I fully understand everything. It's so interesting to hear more about the analysing process and the reasoning behind your color-creations.

      Thank you! I enjoyed analyzing her. I actually started writing the first book and I can't wait to get it into your hands. 🧡

      @@ellaraystyle That's so amazing to hear. Do people ever tell you "You're doing too much, you're gonna burn out if you go on"? Because that was something I got told a lot when I was at the peak of my creativity.
      Video request: How does pairing complementary colors affect the person who wears them or is surrounded by them? I wonder if they cancel out each other's energy or if they just create a different type of energy. E.g. pairing yellow and purple or orange and blue, black and white etc.
      And another one: How does adding white, black or grey affect the energy level of a color?
      I think these would be very interesting topics to cover.

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 6 měsíci +1

      People who know how much I work tell me I should not work so much. But if you don´t feel it is work you are unstoppable and you will not burn out. Only people who do the wrong thing can burn out.
      Very interesting video request! Love it! Energy levels are an exciting topic to talk about and can´t wait to go into it. Thank you for the request!

    No idea how you make those color fusions, but it works every time. And you are the only color specialist who touches the evening and daytime differences. For example I look really good in navy blue, and is considered “true summer”, but for me, there is no need to wear it for evenings at all, I just go with black, has the same effect. In the daytime setting, I prefer any type of cooler grays instead, even charcoal melange looks natural next to my light eye color.

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 6 měsíci +3

      This is beautiful to hear! It is very important to pay attention to the setting of light (daytime vs evening) as well as seasons and location as the light will change and your coloring will be different everytime. And you can use these changes to your advantage.

    That was a really fabulous in depth analysis. Thankyou for sharing one of a person with grey hair and red skin base colour. Did she have green eyes?

      Good to hear that! She has warm grey/brown eyes and they appear olive green.

      Actually I, Helen, have hazel eyes. The area around the pupil is copper. The next is a muted, neutral, pale green. Next, the lighter green you see on my color palette. The very outside is a weird, very muted grey teal. It was hard to get a good picture of my eye to send to Ella.

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 5 měsíci +1

      The copper brown is a quite dominant color in your eyes, paired with that muted green - very beautiful!

    Great work. However, when you go shopping, it’s impossible to find the right tones or hues. in my opinion, but I love your good eye

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thank you! Well, I also have a solution for that: when you get your custom premium Color Palette 3, 12, or 48 you will get them as a digital card and will be able to also access them inside the Raystudio app for free.
      I am also working on a printing service so that you can get your digital Single Color Cards printed out and shipped to you.
      This way, you can either compare the colors in the stores through the app or with your printed cards.
      If your main concern is that you believe there are no exact hues of the colors I develop, you are right.
      You will not be able to find a 100% match (mathematically speaking) but it is possible to find colors as close as possible to your color cards without them being outside of your True Color Type.
      Slight deviations from your color cards will not have an effect on your color type.
      There is a threshold as to how far the colors can deviate from your color card.
      I also offer custom shopping services if a client finds it too hard finding the right colors and style.
      There is always a solution to every problem ;)

    Has anyone you’ve analyzed been the root skin color between the vibrant blue and the purple? I don’t think I’ve seen any in the ones I’ve watched

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 6 měsíci +3

      I think you mean indigo blue. There are only 3 root skin colors (basic rule): blue, red, and yellow. However, someone can be in the transition zone where their root skin color can lean toward indigo blue or cyan. This is something I determine later in the analysis that will make sure I get only accurate colors.
      This basic/generic step helps to determine the color harmony sequence that is needed for someone´s skintone: excluding their worst colors and finding their harmonic/frequency home as Root Skin Color doesn´t change that much while hair color and eye color change much more during a lifetime.

    • @lyayanne2832
      @lyayanne2832 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@ellaraystyle thank you! I mean when you determine root skin colors you lay out 5 color blocks and one of them gets a check: purple-indigo-blue-green-orange
      I don’t think I’ve seen anyone get a check in indigo- have you done a video where someone gets that one?

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Yes, I am using 5 colors yet only 3 of them are true complimentary colors to the main root skin colors. Indigo is the complimentary color of yellow root skin color as the root skin colors are a spectrum/range. When I do further analysis after the root skin color analysis I determine the exact root skin color - there are sub-categories to the 3 main root skin colors. I keep the analysis in the videos general and don´t show the details of the analysis as I don´t want the video to be overwhelming.
      Does that answer your question?

      @hedymills1372 Před 6 měsíci +1

      I got a color analysis done in my early 40. It was fun and interesting. They told me I was winter and gave me a booklet of swatches. This goes much deeper and leaves you with far fewer color options. I already struggled finding items of clothing that fit me, in a style I like, that are the proper colors. In the end, I settled for good enough.

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 6 měsíci +1

      If you are looking for more color options I recommend going with a Color Palette 48 which will uncover all your best colors that are aligned with your True Color Type. It is my goal to help you find pieces in stores with all the colors that I am providing and there will be videos about that. Stay tuned if you are interested.

    Helen's gorgeous. I would disagree that black doesn't suit her, however.

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 6 měsíci

      black has too much energy for her color type. There are colors that I presented that are an amazing substitute for black and can be used as a neutral.

  • @missl849
    @missl849 Před 5 měsíci +1

    I thought soft coral suited her .

    • @ellaraystyle
      @ellaraystyle  Před 5 měsíci

      I think you mean the innitial orange-based color that she was wearing. If you see it as a coral then yes, those hues would suit her. How you see the colors in your screen depends on how your device is calibrated.
      My devices are calibrated to represent real colors (as best as possible) for design, art, and color analysis.
      So I see this color as a medium-chroma medium light orange.
