With regard to Scott's questions (at around 35:50), De Camp did good research for his bio (DVD), but De Camp could not get past his agenda, even when the research contradicted it. Additionally, De Camp and his wife spent too much time looking for support for their thematic agenda for DVD at the expense of the research they uncovered. This is especially unfortunate.
