Yup, nakasakay na rin kami dun. Hopefully, maibalik yun kahit may konting bayad para may option ang mga sasakay. Pwede rin yun gawing tourist ferry kagaya sa ibang bansa. Pero ok din na ituloy itong non-airconditioned for everyone as a transpo option.
Bakit na phaseout? Akala ko move forward lang, pag na phaseout meaning ma upgrade lang (tulad ng jeepney), pwede pala ma devolved/downgrade ang isang bagay? Habang ang Japan from steam train, to bullet train, to maglev train; mabilis pala paurong ang Pilipinas kahit wala namang pag-aatake o pagsira nangyayari? Hindi ko maintindihan bakit nangyayari yan? Ano nangyari doon?

Hi! If you’re only on layover in Manila, I would not recommend using your limited time on this ferry. Just spend your time directly in Intramuros, Manila if you like history or just chill in MOA area or BGC if u just want to eat and walk around. Reserve the ferry for longer trips as it’s schedule is erratic.

Traffic in Manila is bad most of the time but worse during rush hours (before and after the workday). Enjoy Manila!

Sana taniman nila ng flowering trees like fire tree, banaba, balayong, yellow bells sa bawat gilid. Pati bougainvilla ang mga gilid ng ilog tulad sa Thailand at vietnam pra mganda. Overflowing sa river

Tangkilikan nyo muna para may budget 😂 Dati ang ganda, wala namang sumasakay. The only not so lovely stations are those in Manila area. It’s also FREE!

Depende po kung saang station kayo sasakay at bababa pero kung Guadalupe to Escolta, nasa 1 hour.

Ilang hours po yung inabot ng biyahe from start sa Pasig hanggang sa Ecolta? Pag jeep 2.5 hours yung experience po from pasig rotonda hanggang legarda
Nasa 1 hour po yung byahe mismo. Pero posible kang magtagal sa paghihintay ng ferry sa istasyon since hourly lang sya at minsan umaalis maaga pag puno na.
If galing taguig mam pano byahe papunta san joaquin ferry station?
Depende po kung saan kayo galing sa Taguig, sakay kayo ng jeep papuntang Pasig Palengke, dadaan yun sa San Joaquin. Pwede rin baba kayo sa Buting at mag tricycle. Or doon ka na lang sa Guadalupe station sumakay.

No one’s wearing a toy. That’s called a face mask 😷. It’s no longer mandatory but it may be useful in some parts due to the stench of some areas. 😅

Pwede naman po pero kailangan tumayo for a few minutes para lumipat sa upuan so kung limited mobility lang na naka wheelchair, pwede. Kung di na kayang tumayo even for a few seconds, dapat po may kasamang mag aassist at buhat. May nagdadala din ng bike sa loob.

Ibalik ang aircon unit and then charge minimal and express amount for all distances to cover the expenses for the maintenance of airconditiong unit. Meron na tayong advanced solar energy generating units and panels are now fabricated as "STICK ON" like a wall paper on the roof.

@e86HEY, I'm only giving suggestions why people don't go for this ride. I'ts simple reason. The reason is the river is still SMELLY , MOST PART OF IT. So , you don't see most locals taking advantage of it and NO FOREIGNERs ever pretend they like it. Do you know that taking this ride saves you 80% of your time taking to the place where you wanted to be?
Do you know why it's AIRCONDITIONED , the first time it's implemented. It's obviously still SMELLY.

I agree that the government and people should do something more to clean the river but asking people to stop featuring the river and the ferry, a very important part of trade and transportation, is just shortsighted and stupid.

Feel free to ride the ferry. You can ride from Guadalupe station to Escolta. It’s not airconditioned though and the schedule is not very accurate.
