i used to be like this when i was younger, but now i can talk to anyone as long as i have a topic. here's advice. trust me, it will be hard at first, but step out of ur comfort zone and start talking to randome people. the more u do this, the more easier it will be. that's what i had to do. make sure to always think of something before u talk and always have a back up question in case it gets quiet. hope this helped!! :D

Then in class i would literally ask the person sitting nect to me if i could look at their scheduoe and bam convo. Then this sophmore girl that went to my old scholl was in my lunch she saw me we talked She introduced me2 her other Friends and there you go I sat with a group of sophmores at lunch and they were all very nice. But then i met some freshmen and sat with them cause the girl said i could sit with them so i did.
i'm not a social person at all , but college taught me to be social lol i always try to start small conversation the person next to me what's your major , classes and that stuff and in the end of the semester we became friends!

I tried to make the conversations longer which was a big step for me because i always keep it short. When I was little I just went up to some kid and went “Hi wanna be best friends” then they will be like “Sure!” And that would sometimes last. But my closest best friend I met her by just saying “Friends?” I was 7.

I went back to my old group of friends that I didn’t hang with because of the old friends and I have been dating my boyfriend for 9 months :) It does get better!! I promise. I am so incredibly happy with who I hangout with now. Im graduated now, and I truly would have never expected this to be my friend group, but I wouldn’t change it. My advice to you would be to only have a small group. Its the BEST. My group is only my close friends. Don’t put up with anybody’s bullshit, its not worth it. There are so many other fantastic people out there. Don’t settle! Find people that you can be 100% you around. Never change just to be someone’s friend. It’s exhausting. This is a little specific to certain classes but I find if you talk about how much you don’t like the class (ex. talk about in PE, math, any class you don’t like and think others won’t like, or school in general) you can start a good conversation. Then you can diverge into things you do like whether that be other classes, sports, or other interests outside of school.

This is a little specific to certain classes but I find if you talk about how much you don’t like the class (ex. talk about in PE, math, any class you don’t like and think others won’t like, or school in general) you can start a good conversation. Then you can diverge into things you do like whether that be other classes, sports, or other interests outside of school.

Then we tend to see eachother a lot in the corridors and then she was like hi nice girl !! And then we started talking!
