What’s the max length that can fit in the concealed carry compartment? Do you think if I take it to a luggage repair shop they can extend the length like 1.5 inches?

could I fit my new Cz scorpion micro 3 + with SB side folder at 14.6 iches? Thanks for any help! when the side folder is used its around 3.5 inches thick.
What size plate can this bag hold
How's this still holding out for you? Debating on this or the Viktos Upscale 2
Durability is great, but it comes at a very high cost: heat retention and weight. Not a huge fan of either given how much new tech is out there.

It is not a huge deal if it doesn't workout as the resale market is pretty strong for bags/backpacks. It is a good bag. We just never found it to be able to do all the things we wanted for EDC and Travel. The lack of tech was frustrating, but it helped drive us to solve those problems with a new design enhanced with our IceVents and IcePlate technologies.

@@eyeofsauron7662 All of us here in Design and Marketing are running 9th and 10th generation prototypes (we do tons of iteration in our development process) of our EDC Travel Backpack (we don't have a formal, final name just yet). @@sofloflow The issue with foam is that it is a natural insulator, that is why we see it used for things like soft cooler bags, coozies, etc.
@@QorePerformanceUSA I see. Makes sense! Tbh, i live in humid Florida & havent found it to be an issue as of yet. Even after daily use. My one real complaint that im finding after some use, is the upper round buckle to the slings main strap. When loaded heavy, it creaks as I walk. The creaks are not reassuring when it comes to durability. Im considering removing the buckle all together & using a carabiner in its place.
@@sofloflow We've definitely encountered the same buckle creeking issue when the bag is loaded up. Foam backing is one of those things that is tough to notice until you feel something different and can't go back. Let us know how the carabiner mod goes!
Looking for my wife. She is carrying a level for soft plate in a regular back. I am trying to make it easier on her. Not sure if this is better tho.
If you are carrying a Level IV plate + essentials, a backpack is def better than this. We have an EDC Backpack designed to do exactly that in the development pipeline right now.

Great questions! I was a Sworn LEO in my previous life and was with my department for nearly eight years before leaving to co-found Qore Performance. For me, they might be more practical than for others since I have real-world reps with them on real human beings in the field.
