    Oh yeah let’s bring up the assummetry and how Dr ting tackles it

  • @trevorlei
    @trevorlei Před rokem +2

    MSE Benefits
    1. Increases nasal volume
    2. Widens pharyngeal space (why people get tonsils removed)
    3. Increases tongue volume/space
    What MSE doesn't do
    1. Change tongue and jaw position

    This is brilliant Ronald. I have been advised to undergo double jaw surgery, but I want to complete MSE+MSDO before hand. At 21 years old my airway is 3.8mm diameter....

      If you didn't mew while getting cbct done. Your airway will appear smaller. I had two cbct done. One while mewing one without. My measurements were 5 and 210. Check for yourself. Hope this helps

    I was wondering why Dr. Ting typically only works with Dr. Vaughan, and whether both of them will coordinate an MSE-DJS plan. Sounds like they will! Great info to have going into a consultation.

    • @JawHacks
      @JawHacks  Před 4 lety +2

      yes i believe they would. there's nothing better than an orthodontist/surgeon team that works closely together. coordinating doctors is an absolute nightmare and this would not be an issue with Dr. Ting and Dr. Vaughan.

  • @slowlynow9
    @slowlynow9 Před 3 lety

    Starecta, MSE, Counterclockwise jaw surgery. Thats me plan babeeiiii....fuck I miss Southern California They had all the surgeons and guys like Dr. Ting. Ill probably have to bite the financial bullet and move back. Montana sucks in this regard....anyone know anyone like Ting near Montana or Seattle?

  • @kaseyh3233

    Can’t DJS expand too? Are orthotics good to do or can even fixing a tongue tie be enough to fix tmj issues? I know sometimes ortho is recommended for tmj but at that point MSE is worth doing vs just ortho to change your bite?

      @@JawHacksOk thanks and sorry for keep reposting the same comment. Anyway I have emailed dr Won Moon the inventor of MSE and he said that at UCLA they have succefully treated a lot of class iii adult cases using mse in combination with facemask. This is amazing but i yet have not seen any case with my own eyes nor there are many papers about it yet. Pls ask dr Ting too if you can of and if he has some cases to show.

    Hey Ronald what about mse in cases of assymetry , I mean you got assymetry through mse but what about people who already have that kind of assymetry . Will mse help them ?

  • @jainchat78612
    @jainchat78612 Před 4 lety +2

    Ronald, you didn't ask the most burning question to Dr ting. How do you address asymmetry with mse ? How do you expand asymmetrically? You also have unilateral crossbite on one side but mse expands both. How can that be countered. That's the most challenging problem with mse ? Please see if you can ask Dr ting about it. It will help most of the viewers of this channel
