    I live in Quebec province, Canada. In my "city" we are less than 2000 peoples and the nearest "big" (30000)city is 100km away. I've one as a second car, anti-rust oil treatment every years since new. The paint still look as new. It's the same color as yours. Always done oil changing as recommended by the dealer, done all recalls (one involving changing head gasket and machining the head) the only thing I've ever replaced is a front suspension link. And the usual break, tires, filters. 650 000 kms and 13 years after buying it new, it's still going strong and no problem with cold weather starts. Were I live, -30 C in winter is the normal. A week ago, 01/20/2022, it goes down to - 45 C. It always started. Of course, I've replaced the battery 4 years ago and I must say that all the features are still working well. Ac, power windows, power mirrors. It's recommended to replace the a.c. air filter each time you do a oil change, every 7000kms or 6 months intervals. The only thing that caused me problems is that the transmission shifter stay locked sometimes in park position. You have to release it manually by inserting a small flat screwdriver in a hole, in front of the shifter underneath a small cap that you can remove easily with the said screwdriver. I need to do that sometime, maybe twice a year. I don't use the economic mode as I live in a mountainous area and I need more power sometimes. My other car is a 2018 b250 Mercedes. I intend to keep both of them till they fall apart. I had many car since I drive. 28 in total, from land yacht (1973 ninety nine Oldsmobile) to small French car ( Renault 5 and Renault 12) and Eastern- European car and 6 Russian ( USSR at the time) my first car ever was a 1983 lada 1300. Maybe one day I will do a channel about cars..
    Edit: I don't understand why they put a line on a part of my comment. I didn't do that on purpose.

      Well, no engine leaks is a very good start. These cars automatic windows are not the best, either. Hey there, I'm interested in this 2010 Hyundai Elantra (101K miles) to commute to school, my mechanic gave it a fair rating but the only major issue is that the transmission fluid is starting to get dark, I've been told it has a good amount of life left on it so my question is do you think changing the transmission fluid will give it more durability and longevity. Keep in mind the shift still works good and there are no problems driving it.

      @carmaniaoficial8584  Před 3 lety

      Lol. This blue name was definetely not the best choice from Hyundai. Well, I definitely would recommend the fluid change. Once you are getting the car now, it will help to keep the transmission in good shape, improving its durability and longevity along your period with the car.

    • @jimmypatterson3565
      @jimmypatterson3565 Před rokem

      @@carmaniaoficial8584 way wrong most modern cars have lifetime fluid in them the fluid is not to be changed unless the transmission is being replaced it needs exactly the right type of fluid exactly the right amount and the fluid has to be flushed through removing any air bubbles in the system changing the fluid now only opens the door for opportunities to get it wrong and cause failure people who don't know what they're talking about shouldn't be giving advice

      @@jimmypatterson3565 well I can see you’ve read quite well all the manuals…However that’s not how it works in real life. Or do you really believe in a “lifetime fluid” in a system that works hard on daily-basis? If you do, you’re nothing but innocent. My advices come from what I’ve learned owning cars for the last 17 years. I guarantee the dealerships will be happy with people that blindly believe on their recommendation, that’s one of the easiest ways to keep them wealthy 😉👏
