Great interview. Not only does that fella describe his experience with enough detail, that you can half picture it in your head. But he's also brave how honest he is.

Definitely my favourite podcast I've listened to on this channel. One of the best I've ever listened to on any channel.
Once Shaun asked had he any more Ian Huntley stories, given he was in the very next cell and he was like "nah not really, heard him say he was a united fan which is poignant because so were the girls he killed" I was fucking hooked. Hanging on every word. 99% of the guests on all prison podcast would have lied and had a million made up stories. This was brilliant, gonna listen to it again tonight in work.

They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and it sounds like you have a good one, and that sticks out like a sore thumb to people who are losing theirs..
I get it all sounds a bit hocus-pocus, but if you pay attention, you'll find that all evil people in this world, rich or poor, have to feed off the energy of "good" people (vibe, aura or whatever you call it.) That's why many of the psychopathic rulers have a thing with kids. They stealing energy from good, pure & innocent.

Wow! That’s makes so much sense ( that evil ppl feed off energy ) and not something I’d considered before.... What an astute observation. What do you mean by ‘ sticks out like a sore thumb to people that are losing theirs (soul)? Do u mean you’re evil now or ever or for some reason you feel like you’re losing your soul? Do you know ppl that have actually lost theirs? Sold them maybe ? Have you seen the series on Netflix ‘ Versailles ‘? I recommend it if you haven’t. It shows a little bit of maybe how or when some Satanism started and touches on the human baby sacrifices and rituals they performed...fascinating! Sorry for so many questions but you fascinate me. I completely understand if it’s none of my business or you’d rather not share but I hope you write back! ....;) Vicki

I'd like to know if he still gets agro from his old enemies from Croydon etc or is it finished as you've all got older. Not many people have got 2 books in them especially at that age. Wow... that shook the hell out of me. I'm 10yrs clean, a single mum of a 10yr old angel (so yes I used right up to the birth), his dad OD'd & all that's not the problem, because I'm SO grateful to have come through it all & have my son in one piece, but I am so scared, paranoid & over protective of him... It's like I live with the fear that I'm still going pay for my past & lose everything. I really resonated with the ptsd feeling of 'WTF... There's no more chaos, what do I do now' ...but truth be told, the chaos never goes away, it's still in my head & comes out in everyday life... like I leave things till the last minute, just so I can panic & rush (subconsciously... sort of). Hi Shaun! Great Podcast!!! I'm happy to see you made it to the other end after Prison! My ex still has a terrible time with it. His crime was committed at 19 and even now in his 40s it's follows him! He can't get certain jobs, vote, even live in certain places. He did only four years Fed time, white collar type crime and yet it still follows him over 25 years later here in US. I wish both in UK and U.S. they would talk about where they are working and kind of jobs after prison. Also, how they coped in New relationships after prison especially if they have kids! When your mate goes to prison you are doing the bid with them in prison and after, where it ends a ton of relationships! Keep up your podcasts great job! Next year planning on visiting UK. I used to hang around with graffiti crews in the mid 80's when Covent Garden was the Mecca for London's Hip Hop scene so I can relate to one aspect of this man's story but apart from a few odd scuffles it was mostly about the culture and not violence. By the end of the 80's the scene changed and the streets got a bit wilder which probably corresponds with Justin's timeline but regardless, it's always good to see someone overcome an adverse beginning.

My heart goes out to this young man for how he was let down as a son and a child. He and others in pain like him, are the reason, I believe, love was meant to reach passed the hurt to the need. God walks w all of us even before we knew/know him. He didn't break us but he is the healer of us as soon as we concent to His involvement in our lives once we're adults. Children are a different story, he protects them but it's always better if they can know Him as they grow up. God loves us and has a plan for our lives, all we have to do is ask and follow him out of the hells we've been in. Then we can help others.

The screws marched him up to our holding cell and made him stand against the plastic window with his nose almost touching it. We didn’t realise who he was straight away but when we did we let him know how we felt. The screws even came up and made out they were putting him in with us ,they put the keys in the lock took his cuffs off etc and he shat his pants. But they didn’t, good job as I’ve heard Huntley is accident prone.
