For those wondering what move is that at 2:18? It's called the "en passant" move in chess. White can capture the black pawn on F5 by moving the white pawn from G5 to F6. Only applicable when the black pawn on F7 makes its first move and moves two squares forward to F5. As chess is like real battle it's like a cross attack by the white pawn on sight, where the assumption is made that black has only moved one square forward.
But the en passant move has to be played by Nihal Sarin within the next move otherwise this move cannot be played. Like my comment if you understood, otherwise don't 😅

It wont work cauz the prag can take nihal’s rook with a check and then nihal would have to take the queen with his rook and then prag takes the queen with the pawn so basically nihal will lose a rook and a queen at the end

Would like to see a comment on the description of who won the match for all games. It's difficult to understand who wins, loses or draw.
In the end, kings are placed at the center of the board. If white king is in white square and black king is in black square, it's draw. Otherwise if both the kings are on same color squares, then that particular color won the game .( If both kings are on white squares, white won. If both kings are on black, black has won).

When a pawn moves two moves in first turn, leaving another pawn beside it horizontally,
for example here when black took two steps forward leaving white horizontally, the pawn can capture the one that just moved while moving forward. This is called En Passant.

Qxh5 is just met simply by Qxg1 check. Then Rxg1, gxh5 but atleast in this variation white still has a bishop and a rook. I have no idea how the commentator completely missed that Qxh5 tactic though. I spotted it immediately like you did.
