It’s definitely been a long time coming.
For my very first video, I wanted to confirm any questions folks might have straight off the bat and say that yes, I AM APOSTOLIC.
And this video is to give a quick overview of what we believe as Oneness Pentecostals.

My purpose in this video is not to belittle anyone’s Christian upbringing, but to simply declare that I am Apostolic while giving scripture that backs why we believe what we believe. We believe:
1. There is only ONE GOD.
2. Jesus and God are ONE in the same (the man Christ Jesus was the Mighty God Himself robed in flesh so that He could be the ultimate sacrifice to redeem humanity from their sins).
3. The plan of salvation is explained in detail in ACTS 2:38
-▸ REPENT
-▸ Be BAPTIZED in the NAME OF JESUS (not the titles!)
-▸ Receive the HOLY GHOST (with evidence of speaking in other tongues. And YES, it’s necessary)
4. Live holy lives, a living sacrifice unto the Lord (Romans 12:1)
Everything we base our beliefs on is blatantly shown in the Word of God. It’s not something we just conjured up for the fun of it all. We want to live as close as we can to what the Bible instructs, for it is His Word, His love letter to humanity.

hey Samuel in the bible in John 3:3-5 says we must be born again and thats talking about the Holy Ghost when Jesus told the dicepals to wait for the promise which is the Holy Ghost in luke and acts chapter 1 so they did and when the day of pentecost came they begain to speak in tounges in acts 2 as the spirit gave the utterance and all throughout acts people spoke in tounges when they recieved the Holy Ghost when you acccepted Jesus as your personal savior and thats AWESOME!! You repented which means to change see God made us Body(flesh) Soul( mind will and emotions) Spirit(breath of life) is says in genesis but when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit they God told them not to their innocence of knowing no sin was taken away so God had to do something to bring His people back to the inncoence of relationship with God so after Jesus died on the cross and sent back the HOly Ghost that is the way back to innocence for when all the people heard the apostles and people speaking in tounges they thought they were drunk but they were not it was the Holy Ghost so peter and the other Apostles stood up and said this is the promise Jesus told us to wait for so when the people heard that in Acts 2:37 they were pricked in their heart and asked them what shall we do to be saved and Peter sain in Acts 2:38 REPENT (change of mind we think differanlty how we react to things differantly thats why we can change and become better people when we repent because we quit doing bad things like if my husband has smoked and i told him that i would not marry him unless he quit smokeing then he would quit because he loved me not neccesarrly because he lives for God) now we must repent which means change of mind so that takes care of our soul in salvation. Now we must be baptized in Jesus name (Jesus name is the authorty called over us so that our sins are being washed away but not only that our body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost so we must serve God with this body for if we did not have a body we could not lay hands on the sick people and God heal them so when we go down in Jesus name we are also deicateing our body for the service of Jesus) And we must recieve the Holy Ghost by the evidence of tounges when a baby is born for the first time they cry right? so if that baby was not crying they are not breathing samething with the Holy Ghost Spirit gives life so when we speak in tounges thats us breathing in the Spirit i hope this helps God bless

1 Truth, 1 God , 1 way vs 1001+ lie from satan .Partial truth may sound good but it still is a lie. Religion saves no one and religion never did only the truth saves and always have.

I was raised in "The Pentecostal movement" my dad was a missionary & pastor for 45 years. I was very very confused, messed up my first 23 years of my life due to the Pentecostal doctrine, I was like brain washed in men's tradition, dogma, under old testament Moses's law, when is so clearly in the new testament that ones Jesus died and after He was raised we believers are no longer under the law BUT under His grace. I was so infected, and tired listing those call "Christians" saying: I'm apostolic, I'm so and so organization and bunch of titles when Jesus the real master NEVER used titles He identified Himself as just a servant. My last 40 years I have read and deeply study The Bible and very clearly I have learned that I'm NOT PENTECOSTAL or apostolic, I'm a believer that's what's the New Testament teach. so how in the world you still living under the law? don't do this don't do that because based on your version, men's doctrines & tradition everything is a sin... Lord have mercy! God looks the inside, I'm a new creature because He loves me so, He died for me no a denomination. so, review go back to New Testament then b sure you're serving God and not "your organization"
Samuel , Thank you for your input on this . You expressed everything very well . Baptism is a response to Salvation and not a means of Salvation . The Holy Ghost is a promised gift of God the Father for everyone who believes in His Son and no one needs to pray for an experience of speaking in tongues in order to receive the Holy Ghost . Many of the tongues that people have spoken in as evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost are not true tongues . The Book of Acts does not teach that everyone who receives the Holy Ghost must speak in tongues . Almost everyone who got saved as recorded in Acts , did not speak in tongues . There is also no verse in Acts that says that in order for someone to receive the forgiveness of sins , they must be Baptized with the formula in the name of Jesus . Many people have read into Acts , something that is not there . As far as believing in one God is concerned , all true Christians believe in one God and not 3 . After I left the UPC , I came to see in Scripture that God the Father , Jesus , and the Holy Ghost who are one God are eternal and distinct from one another . I've been going to go an Apostolic church for almost a year now (it will be a year on Sept. 2). I love it and it has changed my life. I got baptized on May 18th. My best friend from school invited me there. Him and so many other people from the church have supported me through my journey. It's nice to see Apostolic people having faith and sharing their religion with the world, it makes me motivated.

amen my family founded a church up in duquoin Illinois but I was never part of it until a few years ago now my life has been blessed by God ever since my mom is clean and we haven't had any emence money problems and I'm healthy now too I was over weight and weak now my uncle/pastor started taking me too the gym making me healthier and now I'm a starter on the duquoin football team and God is the one and only that made my life so blessed by guiding me and my family thank you Jesus

PhoenyxRising for me started as a DeviantArt username back in my sophomore year of high school (so back in 2009), and I've used it ever since :) it was inspired by a song from one of my fav bands and the Bible verse Isaiah 40:31, so it holds special meaning to me. But people didn't start calling me Phoenyx until I got Instagram back in 2012 and used phoenyxrising as a username; it kinda just stuck from there, lol! Funny how nicknames come about 😉
Yeah. Pretty interesting. Mine was originated from X-men with Jean Grey as Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. I didn't like her but loved Phoenix, I wanted to take the name and make it a bit unique for my then blog on live journal.It was about the same time you did yours. ^.^ Talk about coincidental. I was a Sophmore in the fall of 2009 too. My ex and I was huge x-men fans . Still like it, but I'm more into rogue now. I grew up in AAFCJ since birth in 1949 got baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in Seoul South Korea UPCI as a Soldier in US Army I got baptized at 21 in 1971 Good to see other Apostolic young people walking with God praise the Lord I lived in Delhi CA originally from Wilmington CA Los Angeles my parents came out of RCC became Apostolic Acts 2 38 only way

Dear beloved Sister, God Keep you and Bless you always... Truly your heart is in the right place. Do not be discouraged by the negative comments on individuals who have yet to be touched and moved by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. A lot of people in here can understand the concept of our One God because the like the Pharisees repetitively repeat scriptures and yet have not received any revelation, all we can do is pray that the veil that covers their eyes and they are able to see.

I'm curious to know what any UPCI people think about John the Baptist and his parents, who didn't speak in tongues when they were filled with the holy ghost. Not looking to be argumentive or anything, just curious is all. Anyone is welcome to answer. Luke 1:15, Luke 1:41, Luke 1:67
Chuckie, I've been praying and asking God how to best answer you because I don't want to just argue a point. I've done so too many a times already with different doctrines and nothing changes, no matter how much Scripture I give them. They already believe what they believe. They don't have an open mind to think otherwise. So I can throw Scripture at you all day, you're not going to budge on your standpoint. I will say one thing though. Pray. Talk to God. I beseech you. Ask Him if what I say and all these people are saying is truth or not. And ask Him if there is such a thing as speaking in tongues, to fill up your mouth with His words. I can assure you it's not gibberish. It's not made up. I'm quite a logical person. I'm in the educational field and I don't have time for myths and science fiction. I like facts and I like proof. And everything I've been through, experienced, and read is REAL. The old time saying is, don't knock it til you try it. And if you don't, that's still up to you, but as for me and my house, you've come too late to tell tell us that the Holy Ghost and baptism in Jesus name isn't for us today. It is.

Good and true testimony, I also am Apostolic since 1978!
I wanted to share my dream from this morning. " And my mom and dad we're there. Where ever I was, Some thing happened and the anointing of the Spirit took over and I got on my knees and started calling on Jesus and thanking him and then I suddenly started speaking in tongues." I believe this IS my year where I will receive the holy Spirit.
I totally believe it and claim it for you! 😄 Keep on seeking God for it, He'll give it to you. And you can get it anywhere; I know of a preacher's grandmother who got the Holy Ghost in a cornfield, and I got it in my parents' bedroom while we were saying our nightly prayer before bed. You don't have to be at an altar in a church house in order to get the Holy Ghost-you can make an altar anywhere you are, for God is as close as the mention of His name. =) In Jesus' Name!

The Holy Ghost is God living inside of you with the evidence of speaking in tongues. There needs to be more context first.

I'm Apostolic Pentecostal too. There is no Apostolic church in my town so I want to start one.
Praise the Lord!! Got saved 3/30/87! God has kept me. One lord, one faith and one baptism ( Acts 2:38!!) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Jesus is God. Diety of God!! No sprinkle or confessing, you must be baptist in such submersion.

The Apostolic Church was born on the day of Pentecost. If you read Acts Chapter 2 in the Bible, you will see exactly what happened. The Catholic Church was created by the Roman Empire. If the Catholic Church would read the Bible instead of reading books written by "saints", then maybe you would see that you are mistaken.
The Bible says to baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. This means they all have one name. It doesn't say "in the name of the Father, and in the name of the Son, and in the name of the Holy Spirit." These are simply titles. Like when a man is a father, brother, son, uncle, cousin, etc... He has titles but he has one name. The name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is Jesus.

You are correct that the true church indeed has bishops, also called elders or overseers in the King James version of the Holy Bible. That is a doctrine that people who call themselves Apostolic or Pentecostal along with various other denominations are slowly but surely waking up to as the Lord is calling people out of all manmade religions into His glorious church. Just because you can "see" or trace your church history in no way disproves that the church that Jesus is building hasn't been in existence even before your church was created even if you can't see it. God has always taken pleasure in concealing what is most precious.

You're Funny. I loved the Oneness verse in Mark you used that Jesus Said! So good and there are SOooo many oneness scripures! God gave me the Revelation last year after A LOT of Praying for understanding, Truth and to keep me from False teachings. Got Rebaptized in Jesus Name! I have never had this much Peace and Joy til I seen the revelation of Jesus and rebaptized knowing it was Truth. 😃😃😀😄
I grew up Apostolic & I am still Apostolic. Why is it that some Apostolic churches believe that we shouldn't wear head coverings & some believe that we should? My church wear Head coverings
Hey there Kiyontre! I'm not entirely sure why, and I can't make any claims for churches that do wear head coverings, but I'll give my thoughts: the Bible talks about a woman's head being covered (1 Corinthians 11:5-6), and that's it's a shame for her head to be uncovered. Many people believe this means that women should wear head coverings (such as veils, etc.), but as for my church and many churches I know, we believe that the woman's head covering is her uncut hair (1 Cor. 11:15 - "But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering."; long hair = uncut hair). So that is why we don't wear physical head coverings, for our uncut hair serves as that covering. There are still churches that believe in wearing physical coverings, though. In no way am I saying it's wrong or "not right" to wear a physical covering, because I don't believe that; I do believe that women's hair should be uncut, however. There's so much Biblical symbolism in uncut hair that it's more than just how one interprets this one passage of scripture.

I got a question, I just decide to make a commitment wt God. n I want to do that inside throughout. so my yg say they dress differently to show they are separated from the world. at first I wasn't comfortable wt the idea but God been telling me to at least dress differently for one school month n then c if I want to continue dressing different for myself n God. I don't want to care what ppl say or think about my relationship wt God. I just care how God judges me UK?
