Best song on the entire game honestly. Once I got to this level and heard this music, I knew they had successfully revamped my favorite game/series of all time🙌🏾 80s babies rejoice, Streets Of Rage is officially back after all the petitions and years waiting in limbo!! Really a dream come true lol
90's babies too this series single handedly set the tone for beat em ups for me and further enthralled my enthusiasm and interest in fighting games and martial arts. This latest entry was justice. Pure love letter. ❤️

Heck yeah, man, this whole game and its soundtrack carried me thru the pandemic.
My favorite stage in this game and favorite piece of music as well. Just 4:00 to the end gives me goosebumps alone. I cannot tell you how many times I'll play this stage and then just sit on the screen with the reception table and listen to that riff repeat over and over. Such a chill riff to vibe and decompress to after a full stage of ass-whooping.
This is when I knew I had a worthy sequel in my hands. Bless

The official OST version is a bit short and misses the intro part 0:00 - 0:38 and saxophone part from 3:35 - 4:05, so I mixed this together from the PC audio files. It overall sounds more like what you hear in-game.

My favorites are this, the second part of Police Headquarters, the first part of the Old Pier and the second part of Chinatown.

Some of the best OSTs come from some of the best beat’em ups like for example Castle Crashers, Battle Toads, River City Street Girls, and especially Streets of Rage

I think i'm gonna stop now because I did the stages that I liked the most. But if I do continue doing them, do you know what other stages on the OST have missing phases/melodies? I can't tell if its just me but I felt An Exhibition, Chow Time and Rising Up had the most obvious omissions on the OST release.

The Streets also lacks the small music part after you beat Kooboo the robot.

I wish there more melodic sounds in video games not just beats. The whole OST is great but it's those few melodic soundtracks that make me ecstatic and seeing that I'm not the only one is delightful.
