This year is a first for me, i cried watching Shelly Ann interacting with her fans knowing thiis js the last time i am going to see her at a Olympics trials. Here am i again getting imotional watching Omar crying. It makes me sad cause here is another athlete that gave his best he makes me believe that not only can our athletes run second and third in 110m hurdles we can win the gold as well running against the best. OMAR we love you and appreciate all you have done. I remember in 2017 World Champ he was the ONLY Jamaican athlete that came home with a gold medal.

Melanie Walker had the same issue yrs ago about she wanted to venture in a new event after she had done what her coach ask of her in the 400m hurdle. She lost passion in that event and that costed her athletic career. So sad
It's unfortunate that he didn't make the team. I was hoping that he did. But I'm wondering if some of his issues and prgress are emotonally related, including switching coahces several times. If he made the team would be hearing about a possibly switch of events. This is the most competitive the Ja 100m men has been in years and the athletes are young.
