About the hermit crab thing, when a big shell washes ashore, a bunch of crabs gather and get arranged by size and wait for a big enough crab to come by and take the new shell. Once the big crab goes into the new shell the chain reaction starts and the crabs take the shell of the bigger crab in front of it. When it gets down to the smaller crabs and shells, they push each other out of the way because they don't want to end up with the worst shell that no one wants. The crab that looses the battle usually ends up with a crap shell such as one with a hole on it.

I will be the first to admit I don't always watch the whole podcast, I may get bored or busy with something else but I was pleasantly surprised that the topics of discussion didn't falter even toward the end of this podcast. I genuinely enjoyed this one, great job guys.

Sometimes I like to imagine what it would be like to show the past versions of Gus and Burnie new episodes of the podcast; like go back in time and have them watch it. They'd trip. Like stoked about how cool the company is now and probably arguing because someone(Burnie) misremembered something, on top of these two kids in the middle. Like "Who's the skinny dude on the left, he's weird and that looks like... -squints-... Is that Blawndee?"
At 4:40 when Gus says, "Here we are, 14 years after the company has started..." and just THINK about it.
Not to mention how different they look, DAMN
Burnie at the end said some real eye opening things.

There's all this talk about re-using actors and all I can think of is that Doctor Who has an episodes MAIN secondary character who became the Titular character later.
Best solution for Burnie's cat problem: bring Nutmeg and Joe the cat to the company and have them be company pets. That way Burnie still pretty much has his pets, his kid doesn't have to deal with his allergies, and everybody can take care of the litter box or they can have a ton of people chip in for the egg litter box thing

I work for fed ex home delivery. The amount of people who confuse USPS, ups, and fed ex is nuts. Fed ex express and fed ex home delivery are actually different business's as well. That's always super hard to explain.

I feel you Gus. I recently had a problem with the post office too. Apparently the drivers mark packages as delivered then leave them in their truck so they don't have to carry them during their route, then forget to drop them off after. They never found my package btw.
The thing with Slack it's very good for collaborative work. Especially with people who work in software development. I study Computer Science and have used it a few times for my group projects. One of the extensions is GitHub support, which is to basically sum it up, is a platform for collaborative coding.
funny thing you mention mike tyson fights, my dad went to one back in the day and he got up before the fight before tyson's was over to use the restroom, when he got back, tyson's fight had ended, it was a one punch knock out

Doctor Who reuses actors all the time. Some of the most recent examples are Freema Agyeman and Peter Capaldi. Both played one off characters prior to their main character appearance, with there even being a reference to Agyemen's prior appearance, identifying the character she portrayed previously as the current characters cousin
The comments on the Doctor Who announcement video on CZcams were worse than Mos Eisley, didn't have to look far.

MY MOM HAS THE EGG LITTER BOX. IT WORKS AMAZINGLY. she has FOUR cats, Sasha, Petra, Gus, and Vivi. She only has to empty the drawer twice a week. With Two cats, once a week would suffice! also conserves litter? i dont think its marketed as that but we've found mom spends way less on litter refills now. I wish i could gift you guys one, but the only type of automatic litter box i have an extra of is the kind you connect to a water line, it uses a special plastic litter that it reusable, and the litter box washes the litter and flushes away the "debris" and continues rotating the litter to dry it out. That takes cleaning once every 2-3 months.
To answer Burnie: there is an Outer Rim, and Inner Rim and a Middle Rim (Middle Rim containing worlds like Naboo).
I like how Gus just somehow explained supply side economics.

250 years ago bleached wheat was extremely popular, it's just that people used carcinogenic compounds a lot of the time to bleach the wheat to make bread white. People perceived white bread as clean and free of things like grounded stone and sand and such that people would add as fillers for bread to make an extra buck. In the UK they had to actually pass a law that limited the amounts of ingredients in bread if it was to be sold as bread so that anyone who added fillers would be arrested.

Heyooo Burnie Burns, just a little FYI, you can get your child anti-allergenic(I'm pretty sure that's a word) to almost anything. Just have a scheduled visit to the hospital and they inject the kid with small to gently increasing doses of the allergen until he becomes immune, that's what happened to me because I was allergic to a lot of things ranging from dust to trees(I live in a forest-y area). If not for you to keep your cat as well but for him to be able to have cats in the future.

In terms of Burnie's comment on not seeing hate for a female Doctor, I watched the announcement and the first comments I saw were pure hatred. I've seen plenty of love and plenty of hate.
On the 13th Doctor: the Lady Doctor outrage has been huge for YEARS. So yeah, it was definitely there for the fans. Seeing Whitaker's casting was cathartic.

RE: the Doctor Who backlash. It is there. The official announcement video has 12k likes to 7k dislikes (which is a large split from the regular ratio) and there are a tonne of comments that are against it. And every post on the official DW Facebook page has hate against it too. Given you guys probably don't look in those places then it's not surprising you don't see it, but it's not a case of going out looking for it for fans of the show. It's there in front of us constantly.
