- In this video, I walk though how I installed HRS V3 tail lights into my friend's Honda Civic Sedan. These are the same style tail lights (with a different lens) as the ones I've installed on my 2020 Honda Civic Si, and both Stephon and I have had good experiences working with the tail lights thus far for the past year or so. Love the design and how they look on our civics, and really dig the cool animation that the tail lights provide upon startup.

I installed these last year on my si also from hirev. Love them. They ended up bugging me that they did not match the head lighting as much anymore, so I ended up getting the morimoto xb leds for the front. Will see if that gives it a bit more synergy. Anyway, good video as always. Funny enough I watched your previous taillight install to get my snake lights in. You def know how to do a clean install.

Is it possible to have the turn signals non sequential? By the way, great informative video man. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on these tail lights. Without these videos it makes installing them 10x harder. Keep it up man.

Hey man I just got the same thing for my civic si and the top part of the headlight ontop the trunk doesn’t work correctly. Like the animation doesn’t work

i recently got this and installed it. i'm getting no turn signal at the passenger side but i'm getting hyperflashing turn signal on the front passenger. has anyone encounter the same problem? is it just busted and i should get it replaced? thank you

does it do the animation while actually driving?
It only plays the animation once upon the first startup or when you turn on the lights manually. Otherwise it functions like a normal tail light.
Question so for these lights do your turn signals blink fast when you’re not stepping on the brake ? I have an issue where the sequence for the turn signals only do their full sequence when I’m stepping on the brake pedal and soon as I release it it blinks fast

No these won’t fit, the hatches have a different fitment than sedans 👍

While installing mine I blew a few fuses. I had to have it reinstalled by a garage

you never expalined what to use so my tailights continusly do a light show
From my experience with these tail lights, you might have the polarity flipped on one of your bulbs as the animation should stop after one cycle. The animation should also be able to be stopped when you hit the brakes, so that’s another quick test you can do to see if the polarity is working right. Otherwise I’d contact hirevsports in case there may be something else up with your set of tail lights

Ahh gotcha, sorry I misinterpreted your comment I thought it was wired so it wouldn’t stop the animation. I have no experience with ghost modules but I’m glad you figured it out 💪🏼
