Thank you!
My pleasure. 😁😁
I’m curious about how these actually print. You mention often that for a 28mm model something or other is too small, doesn’t need more detail, or needs to be exaggerated. It would be great to hear more about that and maybe see printed versions of your video models.
Thanks for the comment. I've been thinking of doing a series looking at things like this on sculpting and printed examples and was curious if its something people would be interested in or if people would rather just see the sculpting. If it is I'll set something up so I can do a run through of the process to printed model and the stages in between. Would that be something you'd like to see?
@@ArtisansofVaul yeah, that'd be interesting. Most of what I model is to 3d print but I'm coming from Fusion 360 and CAD so figuring out what's the right size or how exaggerated a feature has to be in a miniature is not easy for me. Another interesting factor is how to model / sculpt to facilitate painting.
@@bravodium Yeah, that's easily the hardest bit. Frustratingly I found its best learnt by a bit of trial and error, but that is because a lot is going to really depend on your printer settings. I just try to give a guide of what I have found works, but test prints are really important.
Amazing stuff! Will you actually print this?
I wasn't intending to but I could do. I was thinking of doing a series on the printing process but wasn't sure if it would be of interest.
@@ArtisansofVaul I’d say the print process is so well covered on YT but don’t let that dissuade you!
@Richard O'Keeffe That was exactly my thought. Not sure we need more videos of how to set up prints and then how to print them. Maybe I will at some point but it doesn't seem like a priority.
