    I have another question. When I did this, I used different quantities of each (lead, nitric acid, water), and when I added water, the solution turned a pale blue color, and I cannot see through the liquid. I'm guessing this is because I used tap water instead of distilled water, but not sure.
    I'm unsure if I have ruined it at this point, and if I can still get lead ii nitrate crystals after cooling it.
    What are your thoughts?

    What dilution was the nitric acid you used? When doing this myself I did not see the bubbling reaction (even after putting it on heat) after even 20 mins, let alone 3 minutes.

      @@vibzzlab thanks. The one I used was around 55%. It did react like that eventually. Just took more like 45 mins

    Lead begin to oxidize with oxygen at 600 celcius. Lower than that will become pure lead again, i just don,t know the right temperature

    Why the final purity of Pb(NO3)2 is 85%only?

    • @HandfulOfTranquility
      @HandfulOfTranquility Před 3 měsíci

      He didnt say the purity was 85%, he said the yield was 85%. You will always lose some yield due to crystals stuck on glassware, some being absorbed into the towel he collected crystals in, etc.

    I like to ask you to prepare some Unique Chemical materials with Physical properties like Optical , electrical And other like simi conductor et.
    For example pizo electric material such as Quartz crystal , and rochelle salt but unlike other people do just mixing Cream or tratar with NaHCo3 it's not that impressive because it's expensive if i wants to buit Pizo power generation unit . instead can you Make that cream of tartar aka KC₄H₅O₆ from scratch using Potassium salt and tartaric acid (a Carboxylic acid ) .
    wikki gonna not help you much on it .

    • @omsingharjit
      @omsingharjit Před 2 lety

      @@vibzzlab thank you so much can you make pizo electric using this same mathod ?

    • @omsingharjit
      @omsingharjit Před 2 lety

      I doubt on this process -
      ( KoH + C4H6O6 = KC4H5O6 ) ??
      Because the formula for Cream of tartar is KC4H5O6 and for Tartaric acid it's C4H6O6
      Than why one Hydrogen is missing in end product KC4H5O6 Instead of C4H6O6 ?
      Or .....
      Is it because of chemical Balancing like this
      ( KoH + C4H6O6 = KC4H5O6 + H2O )
      In which One hydrogen is combined with Rest OH to Form H2O .
      Clear my doubts plz ?
