They sell hooks for the ornaments separately. And the come in green so they match the tree.
You may have to buy aluminum craft wire for your ornaments. Or pipe wire & hooks.
The hooks comes separately, I never knew that strings were included.

Most ornaments don't come with string, you need to get some ornament hooks, they would be with the ornaments in store or online.

If you’re doing the ornaments with string that take too long, they sell them in a box of hooks for your ornaments

I usually put my tree up on December 4th my son Birthday. (My only child. ) he is grown now with a family of his own. I take it down after the New Year.
