You guys are so creative! The first one was amazing. Impressive to see how good the GH4 still is. That goes to show that it is really the person behind the camera, that makes great pictures. Very nice lighting. THe second video, I love the style, and all the cool shots. My favorite part is the cut of the Green light, and the person imitating the green man. Their video was very cool as well. Creative use of pictures and video. I actually think the third one is my favorite, but all three were amazing in their own way. SO different solutions to the same problem.

Yes! The traffic light match cut was my favourite too. The Eastsiders killed it though.
1. Had the best colors and gave me some music video vibes. It felt a bit mystical & mysterious. (Would be perfect for commercial before a movie in cinema) 2. Fresh vibes giving that extremly stylish and modern look mixed with a vintage vibe which reminds me of going out with friends on a relaxed day. 3. feels perfect for social media. Straight to the point without loosing the viewers attention! I think you can't compare these commecials, all teams did a awesome job and did completly different vibes and styles of filming and grading. But my personal favourite is Video 1. Love the cinematic look and feeling extremly inspired! Thanks for the video, grettings from Germany!

This challenge was amazing. You guys made Diamonds with all that pressure of producing such topnotch work in 48hours. Everyone one of the outcomes could pass for work that took way longer to plan and produce.
I love 1. Because it's not your typical fashion film, so depending the kind of client you have, it would be great. 2 and 3 and what you'd often expect or see for such work. Nonetheless, they're all incredibly well done!

I really like the variety created around the merch in the 2nd video. I think that one showed the merch more, in diverse ways.

1st was the best cinematography wise, 2nd was the better music commercial, 3rd was the most creative video out of all.
I know this is unrelated to your current video, but tonight I was referred by CZcams to watch one of Eskild's videos, "Film Look - 5 easy steps (with cheap DSLR)". I really appreciate that CZcams helps keep his memory alive. I know you would be happy about that too and that's why I am typing this. All really great. Eastsiders was the one that would make me buy.
Art By Accident (a trailer, a music video) it is really impressive outcome given shooting with GH4. But the concept did not fit for me, if the clothes are a formal design it should've won (I love it for a different type of use). I will take Merch Monkies as #1 for Fashion Video, different scenarios and places "You can wear it whatever the case maybe". BUT EastSiders breaks it up as the ADS king. Short and very catchy for social media. But all in all you guys did it well. Your production and team is something to look up to, to be inspired and keep on moving!
all 3 versions are great, for me the 3-rd so cool and I love this kind of effect with photos, the 1-st is so subtle :)
Eastsiders aesthetics is very nice. More like a fashion commercial that can live in all platforms. Well done guys.
Eastsiders was a clear winner for me. Their advert put the product and logo front and centre which was the whole point of the brief and did it in a very stylish way. Well done everyone, great video 👌👌

ALOHA from Hawaii. first of all I can't believe I'm complaining how cold is here right now, anyway. Eastsiders was the most creative and the only one that depicted the product and brand the most. Great work!
While cliche and done before in a way, Eastsiders definitely wins. Creativity, music, editing, all 10/10
EASTSIDERS! Definitely the winner. All were good, but theirs was well paced, extremely eye-catching and just a hair too short, which left me wanting more.
I've been following Andyax for SO MANY YEARS. Love to see the evolution of this channel and the careers that came from it. Also... EAST SIDERS RULED!
The second was definitely my favorite, the first one was well done but the end of the day I didn’t know what was being conveyed. I had not seen the logo before so I was confused of the shapes on the screen. The third was better at showing that it was a clothing commercial. I love the effect they did but I found it to be distracting from the clothing. The last was my favorite because you immediately could tell it was a clothing commercial and was able to show off the clothing while still being creative and showing off the clothes. Each video was light years better than I could make well done everyone. Those were my honest thoughts. Love the channel I can watch this stuff all day long. Amazing stuff.

Great challenge concept! All three were excellent in their own ways. However, I have to say, Eastsiders for the win!
Jeez the GH4 holds up well...and of course it is because the cinematographer knows what he is doing lol. BTW all three videos are great! Each of them has their unique style and approach! I really can't say who did it better! They were all great!!!
This was extremely impressive and very entertaining. You all worked so hard. Your creative efforts don't go unnoticed. Great job guys! You were my original inspiration for buying the GH4 setup years ago. That was one of my favorite videos that inspired me to do videography years ago. I still go back and watch it sometimes.

Video #2 (Merchmonkeys) was definitely the best. the style and look is right on the beat without trying to look like something it's not. Video #3 (Eastsiders) could have been good, but they probably should have had some more time to polish the video. Video #1 looked like a not-quite-successful discount version of a mainstream commercial. Have a good holiday 😊

I sat my mother and two teenagers down to watch this with me on new year's eve. They loved it. We agree all three videos are excellent and can get the job done. Amazing work with limited resources and time. My preferred ranking was 3, 1, and 2. Would enjoy watching something like this again and would like to see a 3rd-partying judging / critique aspect to it. Happy new year!

I have been following this channel since its foundation. It is the best that CZcams offers me, although I follow over a hundred different channels. In these difficult times that are happening in the world, Andyax knows how to touch viewers with his authenticity and honesty. I myself still shoot with the GH 4 and the Sigma 18/35 mm combination, so I am voting for the first video. Thx.

First video did the most for me. 2nd video needed something like a skateboarder whizzing through each urban shot to add some dynamism. Third video was technically very cool too, felt like it needed one more thing.
Most importantly, you all had fun, and I had fun watching. The Smallrig lights look pretty awesome. Have a wonderful Christmas!

A fun challenge, and a great way to promote your merch!
Eastsiders #1 - had the best contemporary use of fast paced editing and focus on the merch. Beautiful backgrounds.
Merchmonkeys #2 - Best use of models and creative placement, though the best model, your friend, became repetitive at the end.
Art by Accident #3 - Beautiful cinematography, great attention to atmosphere and lighting. But the large black graphic shapes were distracting (maybe smaller, white and 60% transparent would have helped). The story was not clear and didn’t seem to resolve. The merch got lost sometimes. Using both sides of the frame for some shots would have created more interest, and would have played well with the film style.
Absolutely loved the content! Each film is incredibly well-produced, and they all have their unique strengths. Personally, Video Nr. 1 stands out for me 🏆🥇 - the cinematic look and feel are truly inspiring. While it may not be the strongest from a pure advertising perspective, its aesthetic qualities make it the most captivating. Thanks a lot! Looking forward to more content like this!
I watched all three on mute and then unmuted(in my weird way)
1. I wasn't sure what was being promoted, honestly. Not sure about the overlays.
2. very billboardy, modern, very 7th avenue. I liked it!
3. Social media ad vibes. Not sure how I feel about the edit. Felt repetitive but I still liked it.
I'd give the Eastsiders an upper hand and second team following very very closely.
Second one good touch. My favorite Eastersiders good transition and story ❤🤝🤜🤜

All teams did amazing job , but if i were to pick from where to buy , it'd be 2nd one for sure , it just gives the vibe and shows its trendy latest and new. 3 was really creative , but i felt that it was overly obsessing on the logo , and 1 was proper film vibe , but it was too slow for grabbing attention , i loved that they put the most thought in it for the story, but for someone not knowing the behind the scenes , i don't think it would resonate with people , the message that they really wanted to portray . Overall , everyone has their own strengths and they rocked at what they do the best , now its the client's ideology whose style do they actually like

Amaaazing. All three groups did great, If i had to pick a winner though i would say 3ast sides.
Super fun video! Eastsiders was the clear winner, but all the vids were great, I just felt the eastsiders concept stood out more and the stop motion was epic, also the vid matched the music perfectly!
Although all three videos were equally good, the audience will most probably lean toward the EastSiders because they had to beat bigger challenges hence the audience will emphasize more with them :)
I Can't Lie all the videos are great, And this is why I tell fellow creatives that we all have what to learn from one another and teach others just start up that CZcams channel and teach the world. Great job everyone and what a wonderful episode to end the year with!! My favorite was from the Art by Accident I believe (moody, great actress, excellent use of music and sound effects) and just an overall vibe - I had no idea what was going on but it didn't matter to me.

The Gh4 was my favorite for making films and still reverent even today. As long as you give it a lot of light, it is still a rock star camera.

Best way to deal with fire alarms when using smoke is wrap your alarms in Shower curtain or those elastic bowl covers and a lot of gaff tape.
