I love how simple but creative your techniques are! I never would have thought to leave gaps between the paper strips and apply glitter. So clever!
I wanted to let you know, I made my first card like this, and gave it to my doctor today, for wishing him a "Holiday with sparkle" and blessings. He LOVED it! Said it was SO pretty! Thank you for teaching us how to do this project. I am thrilled with using my scraps this way! You ROCK!
You are AMAZING❣❣❣ The simplicity of your ideas just bowls me over card after card after card❣❣🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️
I love that you explain what you're doing as well as why you're doing it.
Wow, your "use up scraps" video is amazing. I love the simplicity to create an amazing card.
Thank you Natasha x
I love how you filled in with the glitter. That just made the whole card "pop". Thank you for sharing.
Natasha, I love this card! I spend more time saving Scraps than I might do anything else. I love paper piecing and using up old pieces of paper... so you've given me a whole new outlook on this tip. Thank you so much!
Just in time I have to make 6 Thank You cards. This is great as the idea is the same but the scraps are all different so all are unique! Thank you!!
It’s true I would’ve never picked those different papers to go together. But after you assembled it it looked lovely! I love this idea! Thank you for sharing!♥️
I absolutely love this card; what a wonderful way to do a new technique and use left overs!
Strip and herringbone pattern "quilt" backgrounds are exactly what I make with my scraps. I don't think I've had a failure yet, even when I'm not sure the patterns will work together. When I have some nice sized scraps I will spend a few moments cutting them into strips and putting them in separate envelopes or containers. They make great projects to put together while listening to a podcast or watching a video. I haven't used glitter in years but might give it a go. I love vellum on just about anything. Nicely done!!!
I have used scraps and made backgrounds before but it never occurred to me to space them so you can add glitter! What a great tip! Thank you.
Lovely card especially glittered sentiment Fram 💕💕💕💕thanks for sharing!
I’ve done this with my scraps before but leaving the gap for glitter was BRILLIANT ❣️
The glitter really adds a lot to this card. Really nice!
Hi Natasha, you wowed me again. I had no idea where you were going with the gaps and tried to second guess never thinking of the glitter tip, that was pure genius, thank you again for another great video, have a happy day 🤗❤️🇬🇧😘
Love this. I have used narrow scraps for backgrounds but never thought about leaving a space for glitter. Brilliant!! Thank you
Tyfs a video that not only uses paper scraps, but another creative way to use up glitter! I’m feeling so inspired!
Wow! I've done this with my scraps but NEVER thought to leave room for glitter. Will try this soon!
One of my favorite ways to use scrap strips!
Such a great idea for using scraps and it turned out beautiful. You have inspired me to dive into my scrap stash and see what I can make.
I didn't think the random scraps would make a very attractive card, but I was wrong. It is so cute, especially with the silver glitter.
Funny story: After having watched your video I went straight into my crafting room and recreated your idea. My hubby came in, we talked, he left. And a few moments later he shouted from another room: „I‘ve got GLITTER on my face!!!“ This stuff really does get everywhere.😂 And I really think this „mortar“ is what all my other cards have been lacking. Thank you for another great idea!❤️
This gave me a good laugh this morning! So funny! Glitter has magical powers doesn't it 😂
Love how the glitter “dresses” up this card! I have lots of glitter I never use because it’s so messy... never thought to use my double-sided stick paper from Scrapbook.com to adhere the glitter to. Now I’m getting all those colors of glitter out to use with my scraps. Thanks so much for the tutorial!! And I have subscribed 😀
Of course it is another great idea. Thanks so much. Bless you
I like making these cards from scraps, yours is so different from the ones I have done in the past. I am going to give yours a go, they are great!
Yay. Fab! I made 18 cards out of paper scraps!!! 😳😲😱. I file mine in plastic sleeves sorted by colour x
I really love this idea. I hate throwing away good paper. I will definitely try this.
I have alot of strips.. I'm always making strips too for future! Lol I dont have any double sided adhesive sheets, so I glue each strip. My relaxing time. But will check and get some. Love the surprise of the glitter between each.Watching I thought you left space and said to myself. She has space between..lol know why now. I like that. I do the corner or corners of my envelope to go with my card. Enjoy as always.. thanks again for sharing.. going to do some of these for Easter.
Wow Natasha, love the idea of the glitter onto the sticky gaps.
Great idea with both the scraps and the glitter! Thanks for the good ideas.
Yes that glitter was perfect!! Great touch!!!
Another awesome idea and beautiful card! You really are amazing how you turn the scraps into a beautiful card, so thank you for another great idea.
Ok, I'll admit that I didn't have high hopes for this one as I was watching the strip piecing.
But girl!!🥰
That glitter really kicked it up to another level. I don't normally even like glitter, but I like the way you described that adhesive paper as being super sticky. I don't like glitter flaking off everywhere.
And then the layered ovals.👍🏻😁
I am very impressed with the final outcome.😎
Thank you again for a wonderful idea! I too thought about using old Christmas cards and making my Christmas Thank You's using this technique.
Soooo great!!! Unbelievable how many ideas you show every time. I want to make it all, but I can not keep up 😱❤️❤️❤️
Another winner. I can see doing this in left over Christmas scraps. Easy cards to make. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with all of us.
Really really lovely and effective great way to use the scraps of paper thank you for sharing
I love this card.... so easy and scrappy!
I do this too and I love using my scraps!! You're the best.
Very nice for such a simple idea. Another Beautiful card! Thank you Natasha!
Another great card. Great for doing with gel press papers too. Thanks Natasha xx
What a lovely card so many different elements but it worked so well thanks once again for sharing your videos Natasha
Love, love, LOVE this card!!! You really elevated the "use your scraps" technique! I'm a fan of mixed patterns style, and what crafter can turn down an opportunity to get out the glitter... I always have pages from paper pads that don't inspire me and I think this could be a great way for me to use them. Thanks so very much for the inspiration! As always, I can't wait to see what's next from you.
Never thought to use the double side adhesive and glitter!! Thanks Natasha.
Love how you use up your scraps in different ways! I have no excuses now!!!
Love this, and I sure do have lots of strips and scraps. No double sided adhesive, and no glitter, though. I will have to come up with another idea, along the lines of this one, but using what I do have. Thanks for another great idea and video!
Love how the card came out. I've been making mini Christmas cards with my scraps 😊
What a great idea 💡 after my infusion today headed straight home to try!!
That’s an awesome idea! Thanks for the idea. I’m going to make tags for presents with mine.
That’s what I thought as I was watching her. I decided to do mine in tone-on-tone neutrals with gold embossed word ‘peace’ on top. They are turning out beautiful! What colors are yours?
Amazing idea with that glitter between the strips, amAzing ! Also the vellum! thx !!
When I first started watching you I would sometimes think “well, that’s not going to work!” BUT I’ve quickly learned that your ideas ALWAYS work & look amazing! Thanks for doing what you do & teaching me new techniques! Your kiddos & family are lucky to have such a creative & rather sweet person such as you. Keep it up! I always look forward to your videos.
I liked your idea of glitter between the strips, thank you for the tutorial!
Love this idea! I’ve been using scraps for small word dies or small shape dies. TFS, great idea!
Loved the added glitter in between.. I've got to try this one for sure.
Amazing! I can't wait to try this. You are my favorite You-tube crafter, love all your designs.
Simple and very pretty card. Thank you for sharing!!
Wow that’s so beautiful 🤩 and adding that glitter in between is a fabulous idea! Gorgeous gorgeous 😍
Awesome card, never thought about using glitter in between the scraps. How cool!
Another great project. Gorgeous, love the card and technique. Thank you for sharing.
I love it, Natasha!!! You always have amazing ideas!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!
S
I
simple yet so beautiful! Another great idea!
Amazing job, like it, wonderful card 👍🌼👍👋👍🥰
Wow, I've made scrap cards, but I like the glitter on this card. This is a must-try to use some of the glitter I have in my stash (and seldom use).
Lovely card as usual Tash, I do like the way you use up your scraps, and use vellum behind the oval! Thanks for sharing.x
Absolutely love this. You are incredible with your so many different practical.ideas. Thankyiu again Tash..
Absolutely gorgeous Tash. Great Job!!! Please tell me, what brand of holographic glitter did you use? Thank you for making my day!!! Happy Holidays 😘
Fabulous card. Ur use of scraps is always amazing. TFS
I enjoy and try out lots of your ideas.Thank you for sharing .
This a really fun technique. You can also use foil in the gaps. Just press it in with a bone folder. Saw it done on Sam Calcott 's/Mixed up Crafts, CZcams video. Stay safe and well. 🇿🇦
I really love this card Natasha. Going to to do it now. Thanks for sharing all your ideas.
Very cute background technique!! Very sweet card! Thank you!
Wow! This is awesome. Looking forward to trying this. I have so many scraps it could keep me busy for a month or so. 😂. I really can see this as a lovely Christmas card, too. Thank you, as always! 🥰💕
This is the first time I've seen glitter used as "grout" and I think it is fantastic! I think it really does allow more variety in the paper strips. Thank you!
Amazing the difference that the wee bit of glitter makes.
yes, really amazing, but indeed it absolutely DOES.
Loved how you used solid as well as patterned strips to create that beautiful background and card Natasha. Thanks for sharing! 😃😘✨👍🏾
LOVE this idea for using up scraps! TFS!!
What a cool technique using the glitter. That really elevated the finished look of the card. 😊
Love love love it!! I have to try this!!
The only thing I'd change..or well .. Cheat on... The stamped sentiment on the glitter oval.. I'd pop the sentiment on the oval FIRST and then glitter the edges - thus using less glitter ;) ..like you did with the scrap strips and glitter between.
Ir looks so fun and colourful, take care and stay safe.
omg really simply but pretty thanks for another great carf ideas
Lovely card. The glitter adds a lot.
going to try this, using double sided tape (that's what I have) I love it, I can see using 2 things on front, an image and the lettering
Love this!
Pretty and great idea. First I thought it was done with washi tape 🤓 if you run the glitter on paper through your die cutting machine, then the glitter sticks really well.
Love it! Going to make it a Christmas card. Thanks for the ideas.
Another pretty easy card and love the tape idea tyfs :)
Okay. I will admit that when I saw your choice of scraps I was not too thrilled with the color and pattern choices. But you did manage to pull it off and it looks quite well. Good job!
This would be really pretty with Christmas Papers also. So fun.
So pretty. Love the different colors and patterns. Great recycle of scraps. TFS. Most of my scraps are plain. Seeing your card makes me rethink, perhaps I can do some stenciling or use small stamps to add interest to the plain strips? I might give that a try. Again, you have inspired.
Great skill, awesome card creativity and design. Love it 👍🥰
Brilliant always wonderful ideas always first notification I watch thank you 🌲🎅🏼🤶🏻💜
Love the glitter between the paper strips. This would be lovely with Christmas paper too. Thanks Natasha.
What a brilliant idea! Thank you for the tutorial on how to use the double sided adhesive paper. This card is so adorable!
Another good one Natasha, love using my scraps too
I love this, it is beautiful. You are so creative.
I love this kind of card-it is easy, satisfying and good recycling.🙂 I save the edges that I trim from card fronts; especially those that I have ink blended, when I use alcohol ink or glitter paper. ❤️ Great hint about lining up the front with the double sided adhesive!
Beautiful card. Who would have thought they were scraps??
I like how you used the glitter with the scraps. Really made your background very attractive. Looking forward to give that a try1
Love love love! 💖💖💖🌹🤓
Fantastic. I'm impressed. I have done this but it never looked as good as yours. It's the glitter that makes all the difference.
Love the card, lovely colors. Thanls so much for sharing.
Another beautiful card and great idea ❤️
