  • In this video from Flinc-EV, we demonstrate how to charge an electric Tuktuk.
    1. Switch off the vehicle before initiating the charging process and refrain from turning it on during charging.
    2. Locate the charging point on the right side of the Tuktuk, behind the black cap. Unscrew the cap to access the charging point.
    3. Prior to charging, inspect the charging point, the charging cable, and the socket or charging station for any defects or damage. Avoid using extension cords, and ensure that the electrical installation meets the minimum requirements.
    4. Connect the charging cable to the Tuktuk first, then to the socket or charging station (single phase, 2-pole earthed socket with 220V, 16A).
    5. Verify that the Tuktuk begins charging.
    6. For the lithium version, observe the charging indicator on the left side of the dashboard, which will illuminate green and flash while charging.
    7. For the lead acid version, monitor the charging indicator above the charging point; it will flash red, orange, or green, with a steady green indicating a fully charged Tuktuk.
    8. Ensure that the Tuktuk is charged at least weekly when not in use to maintain battery health and prevent issues.
