Really would like the details of the ride. Miles, route, mechanicals, elevation gain. This is a trip that only few have taken and I don’t believe it had ever been done on a bicycle before. Don’t mean to doubt but it’s such a feat that it would be one some would want to, let’s say embellish.
I'd be happy to elaborate, our Strava route is in the video description. I did a recon trip down there months earlier and coordinated with Panamanian government. On the Colombian side I consulted the father of a kid I grew up with on Martha’s Vineyard who was in the cartel and I used other connections I had in Miami for intel. It was the most involved planning, recon, and intel that I ever conducted. We had redundant satellite phones, power banks, close call scanners, stingrays, and of course audio and video. I would go back there again knowing what I do

I also have a lot of contacts on both the government side and cartel side, we did a recon trip to Yaviza months before and I spent months studying the intel from both govt and cartel on where I would establish our route
