I just bought tickets to the great guitar build off 2022. Bummer that i missed this one by 2 years. Its cool AF. It just occurs to me now that its also somewhat odd that GGBO doesnt do acoustics, which probably have more areas for scratch builder luthiers to make massive improvements over what is the standard and bring up the builder quality with.
This is beautiful! For so long I've wanted to see an electric with a headstock that actually has a scroll!! (unlike fenders, which almost have a scroll.) Beautiful work, cheers.
This is one of my top favorites in the GGBOU! I love how the music in all your videos fits the guitar's theme. Good choice. If Mr Malmsteen didn't play a Strat, he'd play this. You nailed the Violin Vibe, including the headstock. When I saw it with tuners, it looked way better. Great job, and good luck!
i have only one word for this: HOLY MOTHER OF FUCKING AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!! Dayum... that is pretty as hell man... really really cool, loved the cnc work it saved you a huge amount of time if you wanted to be 100% hand made :) Congrats!!
I was the second to like. I also play the mandolin and there is a man in the USA that builds mandolins like violins with the edge and scroll. The body resonates with my archetype brain composition, but not the headstock. I would like it broader. But the sound is the proof of the pudding and it excels there. The hollow body is contributing to that. Congratulations from South Africa, this is superb and I would have liked one.
That's the best looking guitar I've ever seen I play fiddle and guitar I like the hollow bodies they look like big fiddles but what you made outstanding man
Im sorry to say this, but thats incredible. I want to buy it, and put 8s on it, put dimarzios or bare knuckle pickups in it, and make it a shredder. It would be Ironic, but so funny. Thats beautiful, and the fact that it only took a month is great. I love every feature, the piezo, the split coils, its literally all the choices I would make. One thing, is when binging the series, the music got very very very repetitive, but otherwise, holy crap How much for this?
@@KorezGuitars wish i could but i don't have any spare money, unless you wanna sell it for 300 bucks, which I wouldn't allow, given how pretty that thing is.
@@KorezGuitars If you’re only charging $1500 for something like this, you are selling yourself well short my friend. Your time, skill and most importantly the finished product are worth way more. Stick $1000 on that and they’d still sell faster than you could make them!
Cnc is just a tool. If you don't know how to built a guitar a cnc won't do you any good. In this case cnc is put to very good use and definately lutherie!

I made one with a scroll similar to this about 25 years old. I still have it and play it

again one of the most original and clean designs I've seen in a while. How much for a custom one? Piezo sounds fantastic too
custom guitars go from 1500$ up, depends on the materials and design
