Please keep the comments respectful possums, I’ve had to remove several abhorrent slurs against both Graham Norton and Dame Edna - even one person insisting Dame Edna was dead!!
How dare anyone say a bad word about the Dame! The funniest comedian, no one can compare! No matter what I watch, I'm crying by the end from laughing so hard.
thats terrrible both graham and dame edna , are loved by everyone that i know , they are true entertainers and , there will never be anyone like dame edna , im 50 now and dame edna has brought so much joy to my life , you are the funniest person in my life time , and i love graham norton he is one of a kind .
Never worry about the tasteless bores. You are an international treasure. Watching old shows including the dating game episode during covid has helped. If anyone is horrid I’m a Jewish chicago lawyer to deal with them for you.
Barry humpries is a master of his craft. His timing , intuition and biting wit is second to none. Cannot think of anyone that can compare to this genius. Have seen him live many times and he has the audience in the palm of his hand. Heaven help the unsuspecting victims he pulls onstage from the audience. He is ruthless and funny beyond words. A complete joy
I read Barry’s autobiography many years ago, I couldn’t put it down, brilliant read. Also I took a photo of Barry, as Barry not Edna, early 1970s, in a record shop, Sutton’s, in Elizabeth St Melbourne. Barry was in the shop window in a bed lol, advertising something, must get the photo out and check it. I remember walking in, asking him if I could take a pic, wish I could remember the rest of the conversation. One of the Suttons staff was sitting on the end of the bed in the photo. I’ve forgotten her name. I knew her as I worked across the road at Brashs music store in the office. A special photo indeed.
Dame Edna (Barry Humphries) was in my opinion, the FUNNIEST Comedian at least in my lifetime, and I"m 62. Any TV appearance made me cry with laughter. I am American and I have DVDs and VHS of her some of the TV shows she did in the UK. She had a talk show here in the US for a while in the 80's. I saw her live many times, as well as her Farewell Tour show. The whole audience was wetting themselves with constant laughter. This man was brilliant, knowledgable, hip, and had such a gift of improvisation. He could come up with a one-liner or invent a story about anything, and it would be hysterical. I'll miss him so much.
No one can ever replace or even come close to the genius of Dame Edna ( Barry Humphries). Will miss you always but thank heavens for all these tremendous memories we can still enjoy.
One of the masters of entertainment who made all our lives around the world brighter and better for being so brilliant in his art. His warmth and the characters he brought to life will be missed so very much. R.I.P Barry Humphries Condolences to his family and Australia.
As I celebrated my Birthday today I was so saddened to hear Barry passed. Thank you for the years of laughter and joy. You will always be included and remembered, and for me on my birthday. Love always 💙
I know to begin with her didn't like dame Edna in Australia. But she came to London and lived here for 40 years. And gave us so much laughter and fun. How we will miss dame Edna everage. 🇬🇧♥️🇦🇺
R.I.P you wonderfully funny, humble and talented man, thanks for the laughs. Many many laughs. Spit your tea out laughs .. Belly laughs and laughs because you knew you were about too. Barry Humphries - Legend.
Barry Humphries is a national treasure and one of the funniest, cleverest and most brilliant comedians the world will ever see. I’ve had the joy of seeing him and Dame Edna live on several occasions and will always buy a ticket to any show in the future. Just have to make sure I’m not seated in the front rows for fear of Barry making me part of the night’s entertainment! A genius who has spread joy to millions for years.
I am genuinely saddened to hear that Barry has left us a really great comic genius who led an amazing life yet still managed to be a nice and decent human being. We are lucky though that we have a wealth of his finest work on video to enjoy forever. Rest in peace and thanks for the joy your gave me over many years
me too , im searching for more funny interviews , i know there must be more on youtube , but i can't find any , she has been round for years , any suggestions ?
Just the saddest news. Barry Humphries and Dame Edna have been with us for our whole lives. Thank you for a lifetime of laughter. A genius of comedy. You will be so very missed. ❤🇦🇺🦘
I first saw Dame Edna before she was a Dame...in about 1967 in Sydney.. I was 12 years old..she dressed like a frumpy house wife back then. Was so embarrassed when my mother caught a gladiola that Edna threw out. My mother sang along waving and "trembling" the glady as instructed!
I have spent part of the morning watching videos of the late great Dame Edna and this is the funniest. A friend and I deliberately got front row seats when Edna was on Broadway the first time. She came to us in the first act and asked us if we were hungry and given a menu and phone, ordered a meal from Sardi’s. Second act began with us being summoned to a little table stage left. There was our meal. Edna tucked our napkins in and poured the wine while continuing her riff on food, especially aroooogala. I offered her some wine and she said “I’m doing a SHOW, dear!” I have the Polaroid of the three of us. Thank you, Dame Edna, for having me eat pasta and salad on a Broadway stage while hundreds looked on. She was one of a kind. And some people are against drag.
I saw that show. In the second act, as I recall, she was calling family members of people in the audience on that telephone, asking them hilariously embarrassing questions based on information she had gleaned about them in the first act. Lucky you for sharing the stage with Dame Edna!
This is such a loss and I am so very happy that I lived in the time of fame Edna and such a pure genius and I will miss hiss pure genius so much. We need laughter in our lives and we have lost such a wonderful guy who brought such a lot of joy to people. There will never be another fame Edna
Know one will EVER come close too the impeccable wit Barry Humphries had. His characters are iconic and will live on forever. Thank you Barry for ALL the wonderful memories you created for our enjoyment. You were truly a special one of a kind entertainer. God bless.
I am a longtime fan of Graham Norton and I adore Dame Edna. The two of them together are simply hilarious. They complement one another beautifully. I wish this clip was much longer, as I could have watched it without end.
As a longtime Norwegian fan of all of Barry Humphrie's unique characters (now - in these "extremely politically correct times" - Sir Les is of course my favorite) - I want to thank BH for hours of laughter, hours of reflection, hours of joy and satisfaction. 🥰😍 For us Norwegians, the programs also offer a rare diversion from our normal lives - to try to avoid being eaten by polar bears.
Please keep the comments respectful possums, I’ve had to remove several abhorrent slurs against both Graham Norton and Dame Edna - even one person insisting Dame Edna was dead!!
We adore you honey. Please make a pandemic special for us.
Canada calling - the world needs to know what your opinions are of the American election. Has Melania sought out your shoulder to lean on yet?
How dare anyone say a bad word about the Dame! The funniest comedian, no one can compare! No matter what I watch, I'm crying by the end from laughing so hard.

Rest in peace Dame Edna, and thank you for decades of laughter.
I first saw her in 1979 live in London when she was just a housewife superstar. Brilliant. I will never forget. That was how entertaining she was.
I never laughed so hard when I saw Dame Edna on Broadway several times . Barry Humphries was a comic genius who will be greatly missed . R.I.P
Me too he was great live 😢
Dame Edna was quite simply one of the funniest and sweetest entertainers ever. R.I.P.😢
The world will be a sadder place without dame Edna. 😢😢😢

Master Down Under have you watched Sir Les Patterson with Michael Parkinson, hilarious.
Omg - absolutely! I’ve been laughing with tears running down my face. Such biting wit. 😂🤣🇦🇺
I don't think I ever saw Graham laugh so much. Dame Edna was a total blast. 😂😂😂

Clown..
Dame Edna is a true legend.I laugh just wondering how she will
respond to anything or anyone.A true comic genius.
A brilliant Australian product, showed how well we can laugh at our selves.
Dame Edna is nothing short of a masterpiece in her brilliant one liners.
No matter who the host or the guest or the interviewer Dame Edna always pulls the punches and shines like the sun in full brilliant daylight.
Never pulls her punches.
She literally takes over the show and hilariously directs its course to a blissful end.
Rip Dame Edna ❤
"Pulling punches" means to go easy on someone. A "pulled" punch is a soft punch.
Easily one of the sharpest and fastest wits out there. Thanks for all the laughter.
Barry and Edna brought joy to so many people and left the world a better place for all of us

RIP, Dame Edna! You were one of a kind! 💔
I loved the way Graham Norton was laughing so much he was almost crying! BH you gave us so much joy & you will be remembered fondly ❤
No one can ever replace or even come close to the genius of Dame Edna ( Barry Humphries). Will miss you always but thank heavens for all these tremendous memories we can still enjoy.
Dame Edna was a true legend! RIP Edna! To think she died in the same day as her manager Barry Humphries too.
Definitely a strange coincidence. 🤔
I mean, I laughed continuously from start to end, listening to Edna. The timing, the suttle jokes, the absence of vulgar language. It's amazing.
Just a sad fortnight. Paul O'Grady and now Barry. Two much loved entertainers who have kept us in stitches for decades...many thanks.
RIP Barry, you brought so much laughter to many of us. An Australian icon who will never be forgotten 🙏💐
Rest in peace, Dame Edna. You will be missed! 😢
Dame Edna’s interaction with the audience was spontaneous and hilarious. One after another, she insulted them in the kindest way you can imagine.
What an honour to be roasted by Dame Edna, R.I.P

She's a national treasure and the eighth wonder of the world ❤
Now just imagine Edna’s voice, “well they say there are 7 other wonders, but really none of them are up to much.”
That Mary Quant joke is beyond fantastic!

Barry has the ability to make the hosts look like novices. The sharpest pencil in the box.
You would love dame Edna on Parkinson with judy dench and sharon Osborn. Omg judy is freaking out. Best ever dame Edna.
Loved you for decades ... thank you for the laughter ... sleep tight

RIP Dame Edna
I sometimes think Barry humphries is the funniest man that’s ever lived
I was fortunate enough to be at one of his book launches. He simply stood and people laughed. Sublime talent.
Graham is the only chat show host who is not afraid to let dame Edna rip ...good on you.
Dame Edna - a national treasure, I love how she credits herself for the success of many now famous people esp Aussies like Mel, Kylie etc
I love her dead school.
Thanks for the laugh Edna. It’s been a while since I was this amused. She’s hysterical.
Rest in peace. Sweet Dame Edna. You have created so much joy in our lives. Thank you and Love💓✨
This is such a hoot in this "culture" of 2023!! Vale Barry Humphries. Goodbye Dame Edna, thanks for the many memories,

Can you imagine Dame Edna and Miriam Margoyles on the same show. TV Gold.
Barry and Miriam are actually good friends
Omlort!! That would be such a hoot!! 😂
Google she and Barry Humphries on Australia's ABC Q&A, they appear together on the panel!
"His hands are a bit shaky. And that's not always a drawback."
Priceless!
"Poor, little inarticulate Debby." So funny!! Delivery and timing.
Know one will EVER come close too the impeccable wit Barry Humphries had. His characters are iconic and will live on forever. Thank you Barry for ALL the wonderful memories you created for our enjoyment. You were truly a special one of a kind entertainer. God bless.
The whole world is feeling sad today! RIP 🇨🇦🇨🇦🤗💐😢
Barry Humphries is a unique talent. We'll never see his equal so must enjoy every second of this carefully crafted, superbly delivered material. x
🥰😅🤣MY CHEEKS ARE HURTING!!! SO FUNNY.
Saw dame Edna in panto at Wimbledon a few years back and it was the best panto I've seen hands down 😂
I am a longtime fan of Graham Norton and I adore Dame Edna. The two of them together are simply hilarious. They complement one another beautifully. I wish this clip was much longer, as I could have watched it without end.
Mary Quant, Dame Edna Everage, Sir Les Patterson & Barry Humphries have all left us over the last week & a bit. At this rate there'll be nobody left.
I love that Graham hinted at wanting to become the Eurovision commentator and then he did and still is to this day!
He was an icon Barry humphires
Absolute legend 🙌
Dame Edna always knew how to read a British audience.
As a longtime Norwegian fan of all of Barry Humphrie's unique characters (now - in these "extremely politically correct times" - Sir Les is of course my favorite) - I want to thank BH for hours of laughter, hours of reflection, hours of joy and satisfaction. 🥰😍
For us Norwegians, the programs also offer a rare diversion from our normal lives - to try to avoid being eaten by polar bears.
That's magnificent. I'm surprised that Sir Les translates so well, that you get it, because it's very specifically old school Australian.
