Making a Charcuterie Board from Firewood (Black Locust)

  • I happened to walk by my firewood pile, and noticed a couple pieces of black locust boards that were cutoffs from lumber that I had milled a year prior, and initially figured, at that time, that they were useless due to all of the cavities in the wood. Having experimented with pieces of wood such as these more recently, I decided that I would make a charcuterie board / serving tray out of them with some simple joinery and epoxy resin. I should warn you that I consider myself a novice when it comes to the use of epoxy resin, so I make a few mistakes in the resin pour, which I point out in the video.
