WE ARE SO BACK
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO LEAVE “WE ARE SO BACK” IN THE COMMENTS
We’re all gonna make it, kings. Hope everyone reading this is having a lovely day 🥳
WE'VE NEVER BEEN MORE BACK THAN WE ARE RIGHT NOW
WIth a touch of Escapades no less
SO BACK.
New Justice! Woo!
My funeral was today, I had to postpone it because of this song
Stay alive until the April 26th so you can hear the whole album ❤
Rip man😂
Definitely don't die until the album release bro trust me
So true bestie!
my 99 year old uncle got out of his wheelchair to turn the stereo to 11 when he heard this.
This track is almost definitely named after the free 'Rave Generator' sampler plugin, which is essentially just a huge collection of classic rave stabs. Most of the the old school sounds in this track can be traced back to presets in this instrument, including the main synth 'Hoover Stab'. Big up Justice for using it to make such a banger!
I think it's funny they renamed some of the stabs for the presets in that plugin because like... it's literally the stab from Charly by The Prodigy. It's so obvious and it's been resampled so many times like why even try to hide it 😅?
The stab was made from the Juno 2 patch that was wildly called the Hoover patch. It was called hoover when the prodigy used it.
@@andy2069it's colloquially referred to as a hoover, but the patch on the Alpha Juno is called "What The?"
goes back before that first use i beleive is by S.H.U.M 1991@@pdlkmusic
interesting take, and its also notable that this track uses the same main motif as "genesis" so its name must be kinda influenced by this in some way
WE MAKING IT ACROSS THE UNIVERSE WITH THIS ONE!
WE ACESSING ALL ARENAS TOO!
WOMAN GOING WORLDWIDE WITH THIS

Reaching across the galaxies ❤
In a world with no ROBOTS, JUSTICE is needed.
they are turning the ROBOS against us before they even begin ☹

Indeed.
can we go literally one song without comparing them to daft punk?? I literally could give less of two shits if you think they sound similar, they are different bands and daft punk is GONE.
@@itz_lexiii_ Both are great imo
This is sick as fuck. It really sounds like their first album.
As it should. Still their best album.
amen!@@ninetailscosmicfox5585
Word
It sounds like a delusional kid's attempt at emulating Cross where I'd leave a pity comment and never come back.
This is more of the sound when Electro was peak.
This is PERFECTION, the rave stabs, the heavyness, syncopation, the strings, the classic Justice bass, they've done it again.
Feels like I'm in high school all over again
@KidBowsur yes sir!!!
Rockstar Games, I have one favor to ask of you…
Yes get licenses for justice's music and put them on their own station or a EDM station idk.
@@danielpruitt8550 they've already included some of justice's music in past GTA games, with waters of nazareth in GTA 4 and stress in GTA online. i can very easily see some of their hyperdrama tracks making it in GTA 6
Just realized I've been raging to Justice for 17 years. Makes me feel old and young at the same time.
Old... I've buyed the Daft Punk - Burning From Soma Records in 1995!
you know why there's this paradox ?? because despite them getting old they were never outdated, always cool and always ahead. They have the sound, the esthetics, the look, and the taste to make them timeless
Se só ouvisses Jazz picava-te a pinha
Crazy sh*t right? Heard them 17 years ago on college radio in Moscow Idaho. Had to dig deep using limewire to figure out who they were 😂
Dude I was listening to the first album in my first year at uni...19 years ago. Time flies.
Can't wait for the GENERATOR x stress live version
I’ve recently tried to make a mashup of these 2 songs on my DJ controller. They did pair up well!

Justice clap sound is a trademark, you can recognize it among a million of different samples
any idea where they got the sample from?
@@CaaaaspeeerSounds like it's layered claps, shouldn't be too hard to emulate really, paired with a nice compressed dirty snare or 2
And slap bass!!
@@Caaaaspeeer I know the clap on Genesis is sampled from In Da Club by 50 Cent, not sure if they still use it though
If you'd tell me this is gessalfstein i could believe it also.. and maybe kind of boyze noise
But ye, 90% of times i'd say Justice

Honestly it sounds like a sequel to stress for me
i also hear fire in this but genesis was my first go to.
I was thinking stress meets a discoball.
Definitely a shoutout to that album they did with Gaspard Augé. The sound’s almost identical.
Def. Stress vibes!
Bro, this give me gessafelstein and Mr oizo vibes, absolutely great track!! Can't wait for the full album
JUSTICE IS BACK BABY!!!!
Spot on
Imagine Gesaffelstein on the album...
Dude I love mister oizo🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes! This exactly!
i love how the cross went from just a cross to a living being trapped in a cross
It sounds like Justice doing an alternate retrospective - "speculative autobiography" - revisiting their career styles, like Oneohtrix Point Never did with Again. Nods to "Genesis" on this, and later the disco-infused strings in Woman.

With some gessafelstein mixed in for good measure

you just know the live version is gonna go CRAZY when they drop it on tour
Goosebumps. Brings me back to 2007/2008
I love how this goes from giving me anxiety, to sounding super glamorous, to giving me anxiety again. I'm so excited for this album.
Been a justice fan since 2008 and this shit slaps just like Cross did. We are so fucking back.
Really hope the graphic is indicating what type of tone we can expect on this album. This piece is a little darker but still has the funk, and that's about what I'd expect from what appears to be carpenter brut shoved inside of justice. Sounds great.
I really think each cover beautifully illustrated the style the album was going for.
I see the same thing in this case; the 1970s "star-filter" lens flares mixed with some kind of an organic-industrial machine.
It's the other way around, Carpenter Brut was heavily influenced (almost TOO influenced I would say) by Justice's first album. They went back to their roots.
I would say it's more of a mix between Cross (their first LP) and Gesaffelstein
@@Erone Yeh I'm up on the history, I didn't say who influenced who. I said that the artstyle and tone had a similar look.
Thanks for taking the time to tell me I'm wrong about something I didn't even say.
@@Erone carpenter brut is definitely influenced by justice
but i wouldnt call cross a dark synth album
while this sounds very dark synth in parts
Please keep the bass thick and funky. We missed you so much!

Good lord that music video is nightmare fuel. Imma stick to this
I’m gonna cry today is so good
That bassline goes hard, gonna be insane live.
I have not said "WERE SO BACK" harder than I have today. I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR THE FULL ALBUM

This song does 3 things. It ebbs, it flows, and it fucking delivers.
fucking love the strings. so cinematic
I got banned from a night club in Seattle for playing justice tunes in my set before their first album dropped. Everyone thought I was crazy. Good times
Which songs did you include? I like the whole album so much!
@@jippalippa I think he intended "I played in the style of Justice" not a single precise record
@@basstardoprod No he included justice songs in his set before their first album came out
Were you playing Daft Punk... to the Rock kids?

Oh les vibes à l'ancienne, du grand JUSTICE ! ✞
On est revenu au premier album c'est fou!
You said it perfectly.
Justement ca qui est dérangeant. Aucune prise de risque, rien de nouveau. Poubelle.
Damn this is another level of mixing and the complexity inside this track inside amazingly arranged, deserve best electronic music award.
The FLAC of this on a decent pair of speakers… wow. Cross actually sounds ‘small’ in comparison. Their production quality has improved so much in the past 15 years.

I'M GONNA CRY IT SOUNDS LIKE TRACK FROM CROSS AND WOMAN
It sounds like they're going in the direction of combining best parts of Cross and Woman, so this will be the most unique, and might the best Justice album to date.
I'm so darn happy
Also from Escapades

CZcams subscribers is not a good benchmark for musicians, especially for older musicians. Most of their followers are listening on streaming platforms or buying CD's/Vinyls. Like I'm not subscribed but it will show up on my streaming platform the day it comes out because I listen to their older albums as well.
That bass line... 🤯
Also, the melodic part is gorgeous, reminded me of some Gainsbourg instrumentals from the 90s
Have you ever listened to 2 seconds of a song from an artist and knew it was going to be a favorite? I love Justice.
90s rave sounds/samples
Justice is back with their 2007 "Cross era" sound but, this time, better than ever! This album is going to be one of the best of this year! Such a good sound design on this track! 🎉❤

And Suddenly, They bring Dark synth back!
Can't wait to go see their next show! The visuals will be insane 👌🏽
It’s gonna be hard to top the audio/visual masterpiece that was their Woman Worldwide show but I’m sure they’ll bring it for sure
Cooool to have a new Justice album in the near future!
Back in my day this is what we called music
This makes me feel uneasy. I love Justice.
These guys will still be essential in a distant future
It's nice having an electronic song that has some dynamic range, so you actually have to turn it up and hear all of the elements and timbre, as opposed to it being compressed to hell.
honestly so much better than video version. minus 99% of the distraction.
This tune sounds as if Cross and Woman had a baby. LET'S GO!!
