quick note on the ilana camisole! the sizing is not discussed even though it is very curious (XS up to no larger than L), but i reached out to the designer and it turns out to only be so because the designer was unable to find testers for the bigger sizes. since the pattern has gained traction this year, she is currently in the process of having the bigger sizes test knit as well 🤍

Congratulations on 1K!! I'm so excited to see the summer tops that folks knit up this year, and love the plans you shared! I've personally been eyeing up the Taipei vest, I think it could be a great classic and transitional top that would look great in KFO merino in the cream colorway!
Big congratulations on 1K 🎉 Fantastic round up of summer tops, and a few I haven’t seen mentioned before. I am really loving the pretty cables in the Llana Camisole and the square neck of the Stella Top. I have never tried KFO’s cotton Merino or their Pure Silk, so I would love to try them in colours from my seasonal analysis of Warm Spring. I am trying to gradually introduce some of these colors to my wardrobe 😊 So Dusty Banana, Ocher Brown, and Clover Green would be my options. I can’t wait to see your Astrid Pillow, it’s in my queue and I was also thinking of using Holst yarns. Your planning for it is next level! Love it and very impressed!! I just found your channel. Congratulations on 1000 subscribers! I haven’t decided on a tank yet. There are so many that I like but I definitely want to try KFO cotton merino. I am currently knitting the cumulus tee in pure silk. It’s a bit of a slog but I can already tell I’m going to love it.

I'm so happy for you and your growing channel! Been secretly sticking around since the video with your bright pink jumper, which I really loved! Recently my eyes were drawn to the Margaux top, which I think would suit cotton Merino really well! Dark sea green is a really beautiful colour, or if I were to step out of my comfort zone, then maybe terracotta rose or dark ocher.

It's also very cold and damp here due to the huge climate tragedy we had in May. All colours are gorgeous, but light greys, camel, sand are specially beautiful. Thank you for sharing your projects and tips ❤

Congratulations on reaching 1K! I stumbled on your what I knit in 2023 video and I just assumed you'd been doing knitting podcasts for a while (I hardly ever check things like numbers, just need a chatty companion when knitting ), your channel is brilliant. It's the thick of winter on my end of the world but it's never too early to start planning for future knits. As soon as it get warm I'm casting on the Mixed Rib Cami by Florence Miller. I'm still debating whether I want to make it in a neutral tone or something bright and eye-catching.

you and me both!! although i must admit the weather here has been rather consistently terrible (like, fall weather for real) and i've mostly been focusing on the wool pillow and long sleeved blouse for that reason 🥲

I have really been wanting to make the square neck cami youre wearing in KFO merino! I'm much more of a colorful knitter normally, but I'd actually make it in a light brown color because I need a neutral cami to layer with my other colorful garments!

I've been so excited whenever you come out with an episode! Loved your April Cardigan in unicorn purple with pearl buttons; and your NYC/ Boston yarn haul. Good luck with the Malabrigo Sock yarn -- it IS a lovely cool gray. Sewrella also does 100% wool sock yarns, and I wasn't sure why they're called sock yarn. I knit the 9 PM tank last month in KFO Merino "Oatmeal" and admired the intelligence of the made-to-measure pattern. This month, I just finished the Square Neck Camisole in Sandnes Garn Sunday "Perfect Purple." Haven't knit a MFTK pattern yet, so I think I may be putting Camisole No. 5 on my knit-list. There are too many color options, but maybe Ice Blue, Dusty Artichoke, or Marzipan?

I haven't knit with knitting for olive yet andall your projects voice out that I need to get on the bandwagon soon.. I love the merino option. Their colour choices are vast and make it hard to stick with one. I guess I would like to try the 'plum rose' color to make the Sonya shirt by Susan Muller.

I’ve been knitting for 3 years but I am yet to knit the famous Camisole No. 9! I am a bit concerned it’s going to be hard but you are giving me hope that it’s worth it! I would knit it in Knitting for Olive Merino which I’ve never tried before either! The colour I thinking of is Dusty Dove Blue, it’s just so gorgeous ❤
thanks for such a kind comment 🥰 i learned english when i lived abroad as a toddler/child and went to an international school, so i have a bit of an unfair advantage over my fellow belgians there 🤭 the cami no.9 is definitely not as hard as it looks!! the most annoying part is the video only having danish instructions, i know people have struggled with that. i speak swedish, so the danish is alright for me, but generally if i don't speak a language i just slow down a video to x0.5 and follow along... good luck!! 🤍

I'd use knitting for olive cotton merino in tge color dusty artichoke. I'd knit the melides top simply cause I want to make the dress but thought this would be a good warm up project. Also I'm considering knitting the dress in the round and apparently the top is too!

I’ll love to see your progress/experience as you start working on yours (might even motivate me to eventually make mine). I haven’t worked with KFO merino or cotton merino but I’m pretty intrigued to see if it’s as pleasant to work with and wear like their pure silk. Once again congrats and great video ❤
thanks for your sweet comment!! 💕 the pure silk is very different in both knitting and wearing experience from the other two yarns (which already differ quite significantly too), but definitely in a good way! they each offer something different to suit all possible needs or preferences, which seems hard to do so well with just the three fingering weight yarns kfo has in their collection ✨

I've never tried cotton merino blend before, it would be interesting to explore.
As for projects I'm currently finishing my Pouf cardigan that is a free pattern on Hedgehog Fibers, my favorite hand dyed yarn company here, in Ireland. I saw a lot of interesting patterns for summer knits and I have a hard time choosing as everything is so beautiful!

Great video! I would LOVE to knit the Ilana Camisole by Masha Ziablikova. It’s been sitting in my favorites for a while 😆. I would probably use KFO Cotton Merino in Soft Blue so I could use it as a transition piece under a cardigan in spring and fall. It’s a beautiful pattern.

Congrats on 1k! I've been obsessed with saddle shoulder and contiguous shoulder constructions lately, so I'd love to make the Tombo Tee this summer. I live in the Netherlands so it doesn't get very hot very often here, and I dislike tops that fit close to my armpits when it gets super hot anyways so I think Merino would be a better fit for me. I've been eyeing a chocolate brown and navy blue color combo for it, but maybe it's not summery enough?

Hi! I am Cate and I'm very happy I found you a few videos ago because I also live in Belgium (I mostly see videos from UK or US creators here on yt so I'm happy I stumbled onto you). I would really really like to try to make the 9pm tank in KFO cotton merino (in Dark cognac or in Nut brown). But my sister would probably tell you that mine (and hers) greatest desire is for me to make a Blouse n1 in KFO merino in the shade pea shoots because then I would finally give her back one of her tops that is the exact same colour and shape haha. Anyways, even if I don't end up winning the giveaway I wanted to share my excitement because I am going back to copenhagen in a few weeks so I will visit the KFO stores and all the cool yarn stores there!!!! (I can't believe that I used to live in Copenhagen and I hadn't started knitting or crocheting yet so I wasn't even thinking of yarn.....)
