If the enemy does a focus attack and you do a Parry, there is the danger that the blue attack is a fake. If the enemy cancels it, he can give you a combo that takes away more than a focus attack.
They do this very often in high-rank lobbies, so it is dangerous to be throwing Parry at every blue attack you see. That's why people hold the blue attack for a longer period of time, so that you react and do a Parry, it's a mental game.
