I like the concept of one app being able to provide all your financial needs but the major challenge in making a full switch is the limited availability of Maya among small business owners like carinderias and even stalls and shops inside malls unlike GCash which is essentially ubiquitous. I hope Maya starts to target these key stakeholders with incentives or whatever
This is true. But eventually maya will reach these stakeholders as well just like how gcash did. Maybe keep the two for now then when maya gradually have the same availability like gcash, choose among the two which one you want to keep. Or maybe we don't have to switch. Maybe we can have two e-wallets at once as long as both serve our needs. Kind of like owning a globe and smart sim card 🤣. Mostly the same purpose they just differ on the type of promos they provide.

Two things I'm very excited about are the 6% savings interest and the ease of acquiring physical/virtual cards of your choosing. It really helps that you can save and pay however you want. Maya is starting to give its competitors a run for their money.
Tbh I didn't really think Maya was a big option for me in terms of utilizing it as a tool for saving and more importantly investing. The changes and rebranding of the platform/app/company are really eye-opening and kind of sends a message of how much a company can improve if they choose to. It's looking super positive and is giving a sense of trust and reliability, seeing the efforts they are putting in. Can't wait to use Maya more effectively.
I really like the revamped app. I actually switched to Maya after the ING closure announcement not only because of the 6% interest rate, it is also the longest existing out of all the digital banks in the market. The cashbacks come as a happy surprise whenever I get them. I hope they further improve the app.
What I like about Maya right now is that you can actually segregate your personal goals at the same time while also earning an interest, like while you're preparing for something to buy or use the money for another investment, it will create more money/savings. I've been using Maya for about two years now and I super agree that it's about time that they stepped up their game! I love their rebranding and super excited to try out their new features. I already tried their new crypto feature and I am definitely interested in their savings account feature. As a student, their introductory 6% interest per annum really caught my attention. Also been thinking about getting a physical card soon! If I don't win the physical card giveaway, I will definitely try to avail one in the future!
What I really love about Maya is how they diversify their financial services. Most e-wallets in the Philippines offers traditional receive-and-pay service but with Maya, you can save with interest and earn through cryptography. I love how they expanding their app features - cash backs, merchant partners, and paying bills.

I've also been using paymaya for a long time already, since college days pa 😊 What I liked most was the virtual debit card feature coz it's convenient and I didn't have to worry about my card details' safety when shopping online. Now that they've rebranded, I'm actually impressed with the added features and excited to see more of what the company can offer. So far, the 6% savings interest and the crypto investment are what stands out for me. Though there are still aspects that are limiting, it's nice and exciting to see the beginning of a change. 💚
I had Maya earlier this month and I love how they have the mission tabs. As a completionist, it really hypes up my use in the app. I haven't upgraded mine due to lack of Valid ID's but hopefully I'll be able to upgrade it by next month.
Im a begginer of using paymaya i must say that paymaya is really good compare to other e wallet that needed more time in process and i like how the way they respond on upgrading the acc other e wallet you will wait days sometime a week to be upgraded but with paymaya i get upgraded within an hour thats a good service and also nice update that we can see that they are stepping up there game to compete to other e wallet i must say that there moto is really good now that maya is all i need
I love how Maya is stepping up the game. I find the new features of the app very helpful while it remains user-friendly. Plus, the personal goal thingy in the app is a game-changer. I also like the crypto concept in the app since it is very accessible. It just that poor 20yo me who can't upgrade her account for not having valid IDs yet.
I've recently downloaded the app again last month and I'm very impressed of the overall improvement Maya has created in their app. compared to their app 2 years ago, Maya has gotten a really long way in terms of functionality and user interface. What I like about Maya is you literally don't need to read about anything to get started because the user interface is so intuitive. Also, I'm happy about how they created Maya bank and on how I can grow my money on the same app while getting competitive interest rates. Now that they’ve expanded and have grown more, I usually see their logo being printed at receipts in establishments for the online/credit/debit card transactions as well, hopefully they will also be like gcash and be available as a payment method everywhere since they’re showing promising improvements naman. What I want about the new concept of Maya is the increase of its features especially the aggressive savings interest and the ability of invest in cryptocurrencies. These alone are very huge improvements and compel me personally to switch from the E-Wallet app vs the ones I am used to do with business and personal transaction.
The introduction of cryptocurrency together with dark mode is the great combination we didn't know we need but definitely love it! To top it up the 6% interest rate really makes the Maya app the only mobile bank you'll be needing.

It's nice na ang maya ay nag upgrade ng features kasi as a student na nakukuha lang ang money from my allowance sa parents ay nakakapag start ako ng savings and na trtry ko rin onti-onti ang crypto. Saka ang bilis ng maya mag verified kahit student ID/ primary ID lang ang gamit mo. and I love din yung design ng maya app ngayon kasi hindi siya masyado crowded ng apps like ang kalmado niya tingnan. Sana ako mapili na makakuha ng Maya card hehehe kasi gusto ko rin siya maranasan na mag karon ng Debit Card. :>
Same with other digital bank like SeaBank, Cimb bank etc. they offer high interest rate which is (6% p.a). So it means marami kang choices kung gusto mo lang higher interest rate tsaka ung mga ino-offer nila ay meron din sa ibang digital bank. For me nag standout talaga sila improvement ng UI nila. Napaka interactive ng bagong design ng app nila, hindi tulad sa ibang app na nakaka overwhelm pag ginagamit mo. For me 4.5 star sa app nila, gusto ko pa makita ung ibang features ng app nila na hindi pa tapos hahhaha

I especially love how we can create goals and allot a budget for it (plus it earns interest). As a student who pays for my tuition and saves up for my other wants and needs, this makes things so convenient for me. I don't need to put up separate accounts for different uses (which I can hardly do because there are a lot of requirements and opening a bank account requires maintaining balance). Aside from my savings account in a physical bank, I was also thinking of signing up for a digital bank for savings purposes because based on what I've learned from your other videos, most digital banks have high-interest rates for savings. Gsave is great but I'm kinda not a fan of their set-up because their savings have a third-party bank. I want everything in one place. Glad Maya stepped up and served it on a hot plate. :) Yup, that's one thing I love about Maya. Another is I didn't have a hard time trusting Maya because it came from a reputable brand- PayMaya which I've already been seeing everywhere since then. Surely, I would also love to explore other offers from Maya.

Hindi pa nag start ang video, ni-like ko na hehe alam ko kasi gaano kaganda ang Maya. Dati fave e-wallet ko lang sya (dahil sa cashbacks), ngayon favorite bank na rin (after the news of ING exiting Philippine retail banking)... you can set goals rin na nag eearn ng interest, unlike other banks na may same goal feature. Ang suggestion ko lang (para mabigay na sakanila ng ING ang korona for being the BEST -for me lang naman hehe), gawin nilang free of charge ang inter-bank transfers

Mas lalo kong nagustuhan ang paymaya na ngayon ay maya dahil meron na rin silang digital bank pero unlike GCash eh sarili nilang bank at mataas pa ang pa-interest. Maganda rin yung personal goal account sa savings account panel nila. Parang fusion ng stash at time deposit ng tonik and pwede i-cancel anytime para mawithdraw yung pera. Sa tingin ko, Maya at SeaBank ang pangmalakasang digital banks ngayon.
I've been a Smart/TNT user for more than a decade now, and when I discovered Maya in 2019 (Paymaya back then), I found out that I can connect it to my GigaLife app which I use to buy load and data (since I'm the "palalabas" typa person who never wants to miss out on his social life). Whenever I run out of load and data, I just conveniently buy and pay via Maya and then, voila! I am already subscribed to magic data *cue confetti*. Maya is sooo *insert the Italian hand gesture*. On top of the easy-to-understand interface, I love how they used cool fonts that are very millennial and bagets. Kudos talaga!
As a student, the feature that I really like is where you can sort out your funds for specific goal. magastos kase ako and sometimes i tend to spend on unecessary stuffs and leaving the important stuffs behind and at the end of the day, I'll be nganga wala na akong pera. 😂 Thats why its great kase when i have extra funds I can sort it out and as a form of discipline na rin in handling money. ✨
Like you Nicole I am a Paymaya user since 2017 and now MAYA , I must say subrang ganda ng upgrade nila .Maya for me its enough in my phone I can have transaction anywhere and anytime plus subrang safe and very helpful customer service.I encounter Tranafering my bank to my maya account but was successful cash in but not reflected in my MAYA account due to downgrading the system, I expected 7working days but the good thing in Maya their customer service too they wont let you wait for long ,they gave what consumer want.ILOVED MAYA

One of the first things I'll notice about the Maya app is the redesign. The new Maya looks so much cleaner and sleeker compared to PayMaya, and even other finance apps we’ve seen locally. The app interface is mostly black and white with some green accents. This minimalist design also applies to the app’s logo. The company got rid of the bird wings, and now just features the simple ‘m’ with the same green theme. Maya uses a more modern interface with the main categories placed at the top. With this, you can swipe seamlessly from one major feature to another including Wallet, Savings, Crypto, and Credit. It’s also notable that this is first time we’re seeing these features integrated in just one finance app.

I just got my Maya app and the process of upgrading my acc is very fast. Once I got the upgrade I quickly tried the crypto feature, and yeah. Haha. I am actively using Maya now compared to the other competitor. Maya has a higher cash-in account limit per month and you can check/view your limit daily or monthly. They have more cash in partners. I like the features, the look and its very easy to use. After watching your video I already deposited on Maya Savings and Crypto.

PayMaya has always been my og digital wallet way back when I was still in jhs. Little load discounts were a big deal for me because of my little allowance and I used to play Pokemon GO a lot. But with more and more e-wallets popping up, I was forced to change my main e-wallet since I'm the only one in my friend group still using PayMaya. But now that they are making a comeback, I'll be using it again and encourage my friends to switch too.

First of all, this brief and well-organized video is superb! Maya truly shifted from an ordinary e-wallet to a solution to Filipino's money management. In my opinion, the best upgrade Maya had done is not about the new design or new features. It is about the clarity of their intention which is to guide Filipino money makers to become successful and to have better versions of themselves. This is a great comeback to build trust and loyalty.
Been using Paymaya (before pa siya maging Maya). PanLoad ko nung HS ako, pamBayad ng basic bills. Tapos ngayon, wide range na siya! Sobrang matuto ka na hindi lang siya wallet. Pero you can do a lot of things. From savings, crypto etc. Sobrang ganda at ang gaan sa mata ng app at hindi mahirap. Trusted ko na kahit nung una pa! Ito ang OG ng digital banking! Been referring Maya to my friends kahit pa dati and they gave me positive feedback!

GCash user here for years na din. I have PayMaya account that was made years ago but didn't used it due to some features na meron si Gcash that wasn't on PayMaya. I really enjoyed the credit na transferable immediately to the wallet and pwede ma-withdraw. The week I found out about it, I immediately used it due to an medical emergency. Couldn't do that with GCredit, so I am so glad Maya had this just in time. Literal lifesaver.

Two things I'm very excited about are the 6% savings interest and the ease of acquiring physical/virtual cards of your choosing. It really helps that you can save and pay however you want. Maya is starting to give its competitors a run for their money.
Tbh I didn't really think Maya was a big option for me in terms of utilizing it as a tool for saving and more importantly investing. The changes and rebranding of the platform/app/company are really eye-opening and kind of sends a message of how much a company can improve if they choose to. It's looking super positive and is giving a sense of trust and reliability, seeing the efforts they are putting in. Can't wait to use Maya more effectively.
I really like the revamped app. I actually switched to Maya after the ING closure announcement not only because of the 6% interest rate, it is also the longest existing out of all the digital banks in the market. The cashbacks come as a happy surprise whenever I get them. I hope they further improve the app.

What I like about Maya right now is that you can actually segregate your personal goals at the same time while also earning an interest, like while you're preparing for something to buy or use the money for another investment, it will create more money/savings. I've been using Maya for about two years now and I super agree that it's about time that they stepped up their game! I love their rebranding and super excited to try out their new features. I already tried their new crypto feature and I am definitely interested in their savings account feature. As a student, their introductory 6% interest per annum really caught my attention. Also been thinking about getting a physical card soon! If I don't win the physical card giveaway, I will definitely try to avail one in the future!
What I really love about Maya is how they diversify their financial services. Most e-wallets in the Philippines offers traditional receive-and-pay service but with Maya, you can save with interest and earn through cryptography. I've also been using paymaya for a long time already, since college days pa 😊 What I liked most was the virtual debit card feature coz it's convenient and I didn't have to worry about my card details' safety when shopping online. Now that they've rebranded, I'm actually impressed with the added features and excited to see more of what the company can offer. So far, the 6% savings interest and the crypto investment are what stands out for me. Though there are still aspects that are limiting, it's nice and exciting to see the beginning of a change. 💚
I had Maya earlier this month and I love how they have the mission tabs. As a completionist, it really hypes up my use in the app. I haven't upgraded mine due to lack of Valid ID's but hopefully I'll be able to upgrade it by next month.
Im a begginer of using paymaya i must say that paymaya is really good compare to other e wallet that needed more time in process and i like how the way they respond on upgrading the acc other e wallet you will wait days sometime a week to be upgraded but with paymaya i get upgraded within an hour thats a good service and also nice update that we can see that they are stepping up there game to compete to other e wallet i must say that there moto is really good now that maya is all i need
I love how Maya is stepping up the game. I find the new features of the app very helpful while it remains user-friendly. Plus, the personal goal thingy in the app is a game-changer. I also like the crypto concept in the app since it is very accessible. It just that poor 20yo me who can't upgrade her account for not having valid IDs yet.

I've recently downloaded the app again last month and I'm very impressed of the overall improvement Maya has created in their app. compared to their app 2 years ago, Maya has gotten a really long way in terms of functionality and user interface. What I like about Maya is you literally don't need to read about anything to get started because the user interface is so intuitive. Also, I'm happy about how they created Maya bank and on how I can grow my money on the same app while getting competitive interest rates. However, I would like to see a kind of a rewards system like grab pay which would encourage you to use the wallet side of Maya since you'll be able to reap benefits using the app. Thanks again Nicole for such an informative vlog and I hope you don' take too much time off in doing videos since you are sorely missed.

Been a user of Maya/PayMaya ever since the pandemic because it made paying bills and online payments hassle-free, especially with the virtual card feature. Now that they’ve expanded and have grown more, I usually see their logo being printed at receipts in establishments for the online/credit/debit card transactions as well, hopefully they will also be like gcash and be available as a payment method everywhere since they’re showing promising improvements naman. What I want about the new concept of Maya is the increase of its features especially the aggressive savings interest and the ability of invest in cryptocurrencies. These alone are very huge improvements and compel me personally to switch from the E-Wallet app vs the ones I am used to do with business and personal transaction.
The introduction of cryptocurrency together with dark mode is the great combination we didn't know we need but definitely love it! To top it up the 6% interest rate really makes the Maya app the only mobile bank you'll be needing.

It's nice na ang maya ay nag upgrade ng features kasi as a student na nakukuha lang ang money from my allowance sa parents ay nakakapag start ako ng savings and na trtry ko rin onti-onti ang crypto. Saka ang bilis ng maya mag verified kahit student ID/ primary ID lang ang gamit mo. and I love din yung design ng maya app ngayon kasi hindi siya masyado crowded ng apps like ang kalmado niya tingnan. Sana ako mapili na makakuha ng Maya card hehehe kasi gusto ko rin siya maranasan na mag karon ng Debit Card. :>
Same with other digital bank like SeaBank, Cimb bank etc. they offer high interest rate which is (6% p.a). So it means marami kang choices kung gusto mo lang higher interest rate tsaka ung mga ino-offer nila ay meron din sa ibang digital bank. For me nag standout talaga sila improvement ng UI nila. Napaka interactive ng bagong design ng app nila, hindi tulad sa ibang app na nakaka overwhelm pag ginagamit mo. For me 4.5 star sa app nila, gusto ko pa makita ung ibang features ng app nila na hindi pa tapos hahhaha

I especially love how we can create goals and allot a budget for it (plus it earns interest). As a student who pays for my tuition and saves up for my other wants and needs, this makes things so convenient for me. I don't need to put up separate accounts for different uses (which I can hardly do because there are a lot of requirements and opening a bank account requires maintaining balance). Aside from my savings account in a physical bank, I was also thinking of signing up for a digital bank for savings purposes because based on what I've learned from your other videos, most digital banks have high-interest rates for savings. Gsave is great but I'm kinda not a fan of their set-up because their savings have a third-party bank. I want everything in one place. Glad Maya stepped up and served it on a hot plate. :) Yup, that's one thing I love about Maya. Another is I didn't have a hard time trusting Maya because it came from a reputable brand- PayMaya which I've already been seeing everywhere since then. Surely, I would also love to explore other offers from Maya.

Mas lalo kong nagustuhan ang paymaya na ngayon ay maya dahil meron na rin silang digital bank pero unlike GCash eh sarili nilang bank at mataas pa ang pa-interest. Maganda rin yung personal goal account sa savings account panel nila. Parang fusion ng stash at time deposit ng tonik and pwede i-cancel anytime para mawithdraw yung pera. Sa tingin ko, Maya at SeaBank ang pangmalakasang digital banks ngayon.
I've been a Smart/TNT user for more than a decade now, and when I discovered Maya in 2019 (Paymaya back then), I found out that I can connect it to my GigaLife app which I use to buy load and data (since I'm the "palalabas" typa person who never wants to miss out on his social life). Whenever I run out of load and data, I just conveniently buy and pay via Maya and then, voila! I am already subscribed to magic data *cue confetti*. Maya is sooo *insert the Italian hand gesture*. On top of the easy-to-understand interface, I love how they used cool fonts that are very millennial and bagets. Kudos talaga!
As a student, the feature that I really like is where you can sort out your funds for specific goal. magastos kase ako and sometimes i tend to spend on unecessary stuffs and leaving the important stuffs behind and at the end of the day, I'll be nganga wala na akong pera. 😂

Like you Nicole I am a Paymaya user since 2017 and now MAYA , I must say subrang ganda ng upgrade nila .Maya for me its enough in my phone I can have transaction anywhere and anytime plus subrang safe and very helpful customer service.I encounter Tranafering my bank to my maya account but was successful cash in but not reflected in my MAYA account due to downgrading the system, I expected 7working days but the good thing in Maya their customer service too they wont let you wait for long ,they gave what consumer want.ILOVED MAYA

One of the first things I'll notice about the Maya app is the redesign. The new Maya looks so much cleaner and sleeker compared to PayMaya, and even other finance apps we’ve seen locally. The app interface is mostly black and white with some green accents. This minimalist design also applies to the app’s logo. The company got rid of the bird wings, and now just features the simple ‘m’ with the same green theme. Maya uses a more modern interface with the main categories placed at the top. With this, you can swipe seamlessly from one major feature to another including Wallet, Savings, Crypto, and Credit. It’s also notable that this is first time we’re seeing these features integrated in just one finance app.

I am actively using Maya now compared to the other competitor. Maya has a higher cash-in account limit per month and you can check/view your limit daily or monthly. They have more cash in partners. I like the features, the look and its very easy to use. After watching your video I already deposited on Maya Savings and Crypto.

PayMaya has always been my og digital wallet way back when I was still in jhs. Little load discounts were a big deal for me because of my little allowance and I used to play Pokemon GO a lot. But with more and more e-wallets popping up, I was forced to change my main e-wallet since I'm the only one in my friend group still using PayMaya. But now that they are making a comeback, I'll be using it again and encourage my friends to switch too.

First of all, this brief and well-organized video is superb! Maya truly shifted from an ordinary e-wallet to a solution to Filipino's money management. In my opinion, the best upgrade Maya had done is not about the new design or new features. It is about the clarity of their intention which is to guide Filipino money makers to become successful and to have better versions of themselves. This is a great comeback to build trust and loyalty.

Been using Paymaya (before pa siya maging Maya). PanLoad ko nung HS ako, pamBayad ng basic bills. Tapos ngayon, wide range na siya! Sobrang matuto ka na hindi lang siya wallet. Pero you can do a lot of things. From savings, crypto etc. Sobrang ganda at ang gaan sa mata ng app at hindi mahirap. Trusted ko na kahit nung una pa! Ito ang OG ng digital banking! Been referring Maya to my friends kahit pa dati and they gave me positive feedback!

GCash user here for years na din. I have PayMaya account that was made years ago but didn't used it due to some features na meron si Gcash that wasn't on PayMaya. I really enjoyed the credit na transferable immediately to the wallet and pwede ma-withdraw. The week I found out about it, I immediately used it due to an medical emergency. Couldn't do that with GCredit, so I am so glad Maya had this just in time. Literal lifesaver.
