Yes. Free library apps , if available are the best. But,in India we don't have that option yet. Would love to know what you think of Storytel.

Storytel sounds really cool! 😍 I’m using Scribd, but I need to check out that Plus catalogue on Audible, I only recently started using it. This was a really informative video:)

Very cool. I’ve never heard of Storytel. I use Libby, Scribd, and Audible, though I’ve often thought about canceling my Audible app.

Audible is really losing its charm. Storytel is good. If you have it in the US please do try it out.

I don’t listen to audiobooks often, but when I do, I use library apps and I am SO thankful for having those available 🥰 great video idea!

I wish I had Libby or the likes here in India. Alas, that's not the case. But I agree that library apps are a great boon. Thanks for watching. 😊

Interesting thing about Audible access forever...from the author side that means they're tracking your reading of the author's work but not paying out for it...hm. 🤔 Their system is messed up in so many ways for the authors though...!

I have never been a fan of anything Amazon. 😁 I am not sure of how the author compensation is set up. But , I hope it is not unfair to the author who is the real IP owner. However, since this is Amazon how much ethics can we expect?

What a great idea for a video! I have sometimes wondered about the differences and didn't want to look up the difference was in all of them! Oh was that a graph of what time of day you listen on Storytel? That sounds like interesting stats and how it breaks them down. Audible, I think as far as I'm aware, only showed me days in a row. I'd throw up the obligatory don't forget about Libby/Overdrive for those who have public libraries. Sometimes they have some great options too depending on where you live and what services you have as an option.

Yes.Storytel statistics are awesome. Unfortunately, in India we don't have Libby in India 😭.

Hey, thanks for the comparison but what you say about audible is the old plan. In the old plan you pay $14.99 and you get one credit to buy one book only. The new subscription plans:
Premium: $14.99 you own one book but you have the access to listen to as many audiobooks you want. The audiobooks that you can listen to are marked as "audible plus" . In addition to that you get 30% discounts on audiobooks you want to buy.
Audible Plus: $7.99 and this is like Scribd where you only listen to audiobooks only. You don't get credit and you don't get discount.

Thank you for the feedback. I think this plan is not yet here in India. Though, I will check it out. 👍

@@angiethebookaholic You are welcome. Probably in the coming months that plan will come to India too. It makes Audible a lot better than what it used to be.
