She used to force them to chew gum before they spoke to her and there was many complaints about sexual harassment and racial insensitivity from her producers and executives. Another reason why she was under fire was cuz she treated her guests badly. There was MANY complaints and stories shared online about her. Also, yes she cut her staffs salary during the pandemic and then hired a different company to film her show from home which means others were left so she could cut costs while the show was earning the same if not more money then before.
