    The fluidity, the ease with which the racquet cuts through the ball. Poetry in motion.

    This is a GEM!!! this is weeks before AO2017 when he made his huge return. Here he is in absolute resurgence top form. wow this is incredible footage. This is what led him up to 2017 historic run. This is the tournament that gave him the pep in his step for the remainder of his career. Amazing footage!

      Dane L:
      i noticed that, too, at least on forehand. i looked him up. never got above 39 in the world. that is still very impressive. there is so much to being the absolute best, beyond nice strokes, i was given reason to reflect, though. fighting spirit. fluid intelligence. belief in your abilities. not to say Ebden didn't have all those things, too, but you really have to look at the whole game of a person, i guess. their opponents will... one vulnerability can tank a career, in a relative sense, anyway, at the very highest levels. it takes a fortunate conglomeration of traits, along with a lot of work and training, to get to the top, i'd imagine.

    Was Federer's hitting partner hitting backhand slices intentionally since his next match was against Evans? or is that the way Ebden plays?

    • @surfinDelMar
      @surfinDelMar Před 7 lety +6

      James O I'm certain he was hitting those as per Fed's request.

    • @surfjabroni
      @surfjabroni Před 7 lety +4

      Ebden doesn't play that way and Evans certainly does. Fed was just doing his homework. The consummate professional!

    i'm an ok player. by that i mean, i play every week and have for many many years. i had a hit with this 18 year old chick who plays at a university. i could barely keep up with her. mind you i've seen her cook some university level men. her stock groundstroke is like my friends hardest best timed groundstroke. she'd get toweled up by roger with ease. i can't imagine what it would be like to hit with roger. it would be an honour.

    Imagine Djokovic's practice in full-crowd venue... XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
    edit: Even Djokovic at his matches has not to much applause like Fed at 2:54 here XDDDDD

    • @tradesmanonline7535
      @tradesmanonline7535 Před 7 lety

      17>14=14>12=12
      Federer>Sampras=Nadal>Emerson=Djokovic. Bye
      H2h doesn't mean about greatness. Djokovic playing Federer at his very best in 2006 wouldn't have any chances even against Davydenko...Thats sad. But better say that when Fed is old.

    • @tradesmanonline7535
      @tradesmanonline7535 Před 7 lety

      That's all u can say :) Anyway what about the greatest coach ever - Pepe Imaz? How Djokovic spent his December's break? The answer is simple - Meditating Only. What an imbecil

    • @tradesmanonline7535
      @tradesmanonline7535 Před 7 lety

      I am not Federer fan to argue :) I'm a tennis fan and every normal tennis fan just know what is tennis. Federer is tennis. H2H is not an explanation, tennis is not like a boxing. Box is not a sport. So get the fuck out and cry more. I'm rooting for the young guns like Kyrgios and give a fuck for Federer , Djokovic, Nadal and the others... They are done.

    • @tradesmanonline7535
      @tradesmanonline7535 Před 7 lety

      H2h does matter when the fans have no arguments. By your claiming i can say Kyrgios leads 1:0 h2h against Federer so he's unbeatable and the greatest of all times. Nosense. I finished. Wish you a great feeling of watching AO. See you at the comments under AO videos. Best Greetings from TradesmanOnline

    • @tradesmanonline7535
      @tradesmanonline7535 Před 7 lety

      Not at this form honestly. Karlovic will improve head to head against Djoko, if he manage to pass goffin. Kyrgios for the AO title if not his injured knee. Murray will fail early as well :D
