    I had radioactive iodine treatment to destroy thyroid gland due to Grave's disease. I have Aquired Hypothyroidism.
    I take T4 only ( named brand [ Synthroid].
    I was on 88mcg for years, then I was reduced to 75mcg 6 months ago. My TSH went from 0.2 after 2 months up to 2.9. The T4 ( not Free T4) was 12.5 range 4.5- 12.0 down to 7.7. I've had TSH, T4 & T3 tested this week. Not Free T3. TSH 1.6 and T4 8.3 and T3 only 26 range 24 - 39. I FEEL hypothyroid. Lot of symptoms. Memory, brain fog, weak muscles, especially upper arms and legs, extremely fatigue ( almost debilitating), dizzy. I can remember when my thyroid stopped functioning after radio therapy I felt this same dizzy ( feeling like I sinking into quicksand, memory, etc). How can I feel like this and the Drs saying it's perfect, stay on 75mcg with no gland function at all.

      You need to check free t3, its the active harmone that the body absorbs, if this is not sufficient then you need to take pure t3

      @@hvvijuka thats it,,t3 is all the body needs,,t4 is only there for storage to be converted to t3,,it does nothing,,theres not a single t4 receptor in the body

    I think I have secondary hypothyroidism because my TSH is normal but on the low side.. and my RT3 is extremely low.. I feel always fatigue, have low heart beat (50 bpm), high cholesterol, and low body temperature.. do you think it could be central hypotyroidisim?

    Can it go with solving zinc and selenium or do you need T3 too?

    • @kayephillips7256
      @kayephillips7256 Před 3 lety +1

      You need the T3 too, Tiromel from the Tiromel supplier or T3 from Mymexicandrugstore are a good choice.
